Activist Judge Strikes Down Ban On Homosexual Marriage, Overruling 76% of Georgia Voters

A liberal activist judge has struck down a constitutional amendment in Georgia which made homosexual marriage illegal! She felt that she knew better than the voters how they should vote and threw out their ballots.

The constitutional amendment, passed overwhelmingly by 76% of the voters in Georgia, is now null and void.

The homosexuals are determined to win this battle. They know they will never win if the people have an opportunity to vote. So they are turning to liberal activist judges to force their will on the people. They intend to force homosexual marriage down the throats of Americans. They feel our children must be indoctrinated beginning in kindergarten that homosexuality is normal behavior.

On June 6 the U.S. Senate will vote on the Marriage Protection Amendment (MPA) which defines marriage as being only between one man and one woman. Because of a power grab by activist judges like the one in Georgia, the MPA is the only way that the sacred institution of marriage will remain between one man and one woman.

Take Action
Please call your two U.S. Senators today and tell them to vote for the MPA. If your Senator's lines are busy, please keep trying. They need to hear from you personally.

The liberal senators who want to legalize homosexual marriage will give you the political run-around. Don't be fooled. This is very true! I hope you didnt misinterpret my question. I was not hoping that it had passed, but was hoping that it had failed. I cant seem to find any information regarding it. In my country (Australia) we are still very opposed to the idea of gay marriage and our courts are substantially more conservative in outlook, although we do have one openly gay judge on the High Court, he does not hold much sway or have a lot of credibility on his social outlook.

I am astonished at you considering the quite recent history of your country. Do you not realise what is at stake here? The people who make these laws are humanists who are fundamentally anti Christian, anti God, and pro evil, all be it unwittingly in many cases. So it is necessary for Christian people to make a stand, otherwise we will be responsible for, and witnesses to the fall of our society into increased moral degradation and further wickedness.

This one group of people is in reach, and it seems like they are easy to control. You don't have to get far out of your seat to protest it either. So, why this one special issue, but not others?

I dont know about the issue in America but here in Australia Christians do oppose all these things you have listed. The reason you notice the Homosexual issue more readilly is because the media will take a story on Christians protesting against homosexuality than they will Fast Food. Also i dont know where you live but i have seen numerous protests regarding the porn industry and other things such as alcohol. Alcoholics Anonymous (one of the most effective ways for people addicted to alcohol to kick the habit) has a Christian basis and in many cases is run by Christian Churches (in Australia at least)

Yes gay people may be together if it is legal or not, however the issue here is the legitimacy of such a union. By allowing gay marriage to be socially acceptable via legalisation then we are effectively saying that it is ok. Gay marriage is NOT ok. Jesus Christ gave us the commision of speading the gospel to the ends of the earth and i for one take that responsibility very seriously. I agree with Stephen have a read of Romans.

Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, Gal 5:19.

If none Christians were not to marry this would mean they were practicing fornication which is another sin.

When none Christians or nominal Christians marry they make a promise before God to be faithful to one another and God honours that promise. After all, it was God who instituted marriage, it is not a human invention. And it is God who sets the boundaries as to who should marry whom.

I have a question. What would your excuse be to GOD when you face Him and He asks you "what have you done to defend the Truth"?

Also, you make it sound as if you know every Christian and what they do and do not know. How do you know all Christians do not fight against fast food, gay marriage, etc? I hope I never see the day when homosexuality is looked at as normal. Im 18 and there is a good chance by the time I have children, there will be gay marriage. I do not want my children to look at this life style as normal. I am for the law but when it goes against God's word its pitiful.

fevoldj2...its very apparent you are not a true believer. If you were, you would stick up for what GOD says is good, instead you are careless. Would you support if your own child was gay and decided to marry or would you reach out to him/her? What about the rest of the world? Are they not to reach out to as well? Apparently you don't care.
