Someone sent this to me, passing it on. A nice read indeed.

**

Here is a woman who should run for Prime Minister!

Written by a housewife, to her daily newspaper. This is one ticked off lady.

'Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores in July 2002, and in New York Sept 112001 and have continually threatened to do so since?

Were people from all over the world, not brutally murdered that day in London, and in downtown Manhattan , and in a field in Pennsylvania ?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a few Taliban were claiming to be tortured by a justice system of the nation they come from and are fighting against in a brutal insurgency.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11 and 7/7.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere belief of which is a crime punishable by beheading in Afghanistan

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called 'insurgents' in Afghanistan come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques and behind women and children.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of Nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.

I'll care when the British media stops pretending that their freedom of speech on stories is more important than the lives of the soldiers on the ground or their families waiting at home to hear about them when something happens.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a British soldier roughing up an Insurgent terrorist to obtain information, know this:

I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take this to the bank:

I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner - who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and 'fed special food' that is paid for by my taxes - is complaining that his holy book is being 'mishandled,' you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts:

I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled 'Koran' and other times 'Quran.' Well, believe me!! you guessed it ......

I don't care!!

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your E-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behaviour!

If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great country! And may I add:

'Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. Our soldiers don't have that problem.'
I have another quote that I would like to add, AND.......I hope you forward all this.

Only five defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The British Soldier.
3. The Canadian Soldier.
4. The US Soldier, and
5. The Australian Soldier

One died for your soul, the other 4 for your freedom.

I wonder if the dear lady, could be any more specfic?? LOL Most are very angry, many still in so much pain and sorrow, being a Vienam Veteran,I understand. All of us need healing,of so many different things in life,I pray, for all in need! When the natural comes into contact with the SUPERNATURAL something has to give, without love,Faith has no place for us to go,let us therfore consider gaining love, both to mend our hearts,as well as others. These things I have spoken to you so that MY JOY may be made full. john 15:11 Anger is right, when it serves a purpose, the purpose should always be moving toward our Jesus ,rather then away from him.Today let love fill your hearts and your minds, let us walk in a call worthy,of his Precious name. I am thankful for all here at this wonderful site, for some,if you cannot love me by fact,I hope you will love me by Faith,to all those who read this, please know this. Now to HIM who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of HIS glory blameless with great joy,to the only GOD our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord,be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. AMEN! jude 1:24-25

Luke 6:27-29 (NKJV) "But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 "bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. 29 "To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either.

Romans 12:17-21 (NKJV) Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. 20 Therefore "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head." 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

I am currently living in a muslim country and I am surrounded by Islam everyday and from my experience you cannot cast a whole group of people into a stereotype because of the actions of a minority. I don't hate the people here because of their religion instead I just feel sorry for them. Sorry that they don't know the love of Jesus and sorry that they are following a religion based on a false prophet.

I tell anyone who asks that I am a Christian (and yes it comes up often) but I have rarely been attacked for that. When I first arrived here I was worried about that but immediately I found out that people considered Christians as "people of the book" (they think here that there are 3 prophets - Moses, Jesus and Mohammed) and that since the Koran tells them to treat people of the book with respect they strive to do so. Of course there are many many muslims who do not do this just as there are many many Christians who do not follow what the bible says.

When I talk to atheists about Christianity they always like to point out "Christian guided" witch burning or some other event in history that paints Christianity as backwards and unenlightened. I like to point out to them that what Christianity is about is the Word of God and not men who chose to do what they wanted to do and might have selectively used the bible to back up their own personal endeavors.

I am not defending Islam - I think it is a false religion like all other religions that are not Christianity but let's show muslims what it means to be a christian by living a life of love and not hate.

Thanks Koge for an enlightened post. Having spent some time living in a predominatly Muslim country too i echo your experiences about christian tolerance. undoubtldy the Islamic faith is going through its dark ages at the moment, many of my moslem friends have said the same. but they remain hopeful that just as christianity emerged from the dark so too will Islam.
Im sure we can do our bit to speed up the process by showing the way of the enlightened through love and tolerance and understanding.
GOd bless

And yet each one of those dear Muslims souls is on their way to a Christ-less eternity. What kind of reaction would you get for sharing Christ with them? And would you really be showing them any kindness by not sharing?

Isnt christ everywhere? Do we not have an omnipotent God? God exists in the hearts of all mankind be they christian jew muslim atheist hindu buddishst bahai or anything. We may choose not to see God, but God always sees us.
