There is evidence of a transformed life. What changed those frightened disciples to be "on fire" for God? What caused an angry, murderous Pharisee named Saul to become the great Apostle Paul? What power radically changed John Newton, a profane slave trader who would become a preacher of the gospel, to write the beautiful hymn, "Amazing Grace", and to become the man who caused slavery to be overthrown in England? The only power that brings about such change in a human's life is the power of the risen Lord. When His resurrection power touches someone, he/she becomes a new creation in Him; old things pass away and all things become new! 2 Corinthians 5:17-This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
May we continue to move closer to God through prayer, reading and meditating on His Word, and fellowshipping with other believers. May God continue to shape us and mold us into the person He wants us to be, as we follow the leading of the Person of the Holy Spirit Who dwells within us.
Love in Christ,
Jan
