They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: "Great and marvelous [are] Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true [are] Your ways, O King of the saints! Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For [You] alone [are] holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested." Revelation 15:3-4 NKJV

What a wondrous display of marvelous works! You are God. You are Lord. You are mighty. Your ways are fair. Your words are true. Your kingdom is filled with saints. Who can refuse to respect You? Who would refuse to think of Your name as glorious? Holy describes You. People from all places will not hold back their hearts from worshipping You. Your final decisions are perfect, and You fulfill Your every promise.”

This is a new take on an old praise from the passage above. Did it make you feel fresh strength? Did your spirit gain courage? Honoring God has this effect on you. It brings clarity to your thinking and purpose to your choices.

The shaken become settled when they pray and praise God. The alternative is to fixate on problems while overlooking His solutions.

Prayer: God, I can’t understand why You love me the way You do, but I’m grateful. I can’t explain why You forgive, but I need it. I can’t list all the ways my life is better for knowing You, but I will tell others about a good God with good plans for shaken people.
