Just heads up (I'm the bride and my faith is the groom ).
No one likes the thought...
The lonely road to self discovery.
It's a climb they call it.
An odyssey they also say.
In this life we all must make a journey ounce in our life time.
This is my journey...down the aisle.
A walk that I've been walking my whole life.
Never made it to the front of the alter or i did make it to the alter.
Now married to my groom and i keep dreaming of my walk..
Been walking my whole life.
My mother always said to me " life is a journey that we must all take".
If you've ever walked down the isle then you know the feeling..the long journey that never seems to end until the bride meets the groom.
Well it's not all as bad as it seems.
I mean come on I've been on this road my whole life.
Tables turned...I'm walking to you.
One step forward.
Two steps back.
Such a patient groom.
Always waiting.
I take one step forward and I'm back two steps back.
The closer i get to you...the further away i seem to be.
In my dreams on my knees I'm stronger.
On my knees i go.
Off of my knees and I'm two step back away from you.
Funny thing about aisles you can always see the front but never the back when your walking forward.
Don't give up on me and I'll never give up on you.
