Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, [there were] very many in the open valley; and indeed [they were] very dry. And He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" So I answered, "O Lord GOD, You know." Ezekiel 37:2-3 NKJV

When God showed the prophet Ezekiel a vision of a valley filled with dry bones, He asked him a question that is of eternal importance to all of us today: “Can these bones live?”

Ezekiel knew that God was the God of the impossible, and his vision ended with a miracle: dry bones being covered with flesh and coming to life.

Ezekiel’s vision speaks to us today. The apostle Paul wrote, “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions” (Ephesians 2:4-5)

Today, God is showing each of us our own valleys filled with dry bones—the people in our lives who don’t know Jesus-and asking us, “Can these bones live?”

The answer, of course, is Yes, they can! Our part in making that miracle happen is to speak the words of life we know as the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Prayer: Lord, I know that it’s Your will for me to speak life to men and women who are spiritually dead. Please give me the faith and courage to speak the message of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Just curious, why do you think this was a vision?
Dear Brother BAC,
Always a joy to hear from you!
As far as "vision", yes. I get the impression from the rest of the chapter that this is prophetic in nature, and one that Ezekiel was to bring to the Nation of Israel.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.
As always a joy Brother.
