Being unshakable, immovable, and steadfast is connected to a trust in what God says about your future. If you really understand that there is a future with God that exists beyond your life on earth, then it’s easier to trust Him with each moment of the temporary existence you’re living now.
Your future should never stay in your hands. You aren’t in a contest to be the most self-reliant among men. You trust a God you pledge allegiance to You are in His hands because He holds you there. He offers protection, comfort, and closeness.
It’s hard to conjure an image of the word immovable in an environment where God would not be a refuge, could not offer help, or would not stand with His family.
You get to see God work in your life and in the lives of others. You get to hear words that praise Him for an outcome that no one saw coming but that could be described as amazing.
