This has been brought up a few times before, but it's been a while.

Does God eventually get tired of us resisting Him in some cases, and eventually just give us over to what we want?

Rom 1:24; Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them.
Rom 1:26; For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural,
Rom 1:28; And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper,

Does God eventually just say... Ok you don't want to believe the truth.. fine, I'm not even going to give you any more chance to.

2Thes 2:10; and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.
2Thes 2:11; For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false,
2Thes 2:12; in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.

Can he send evil spirits to us?

1Sam 16:14; Now the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD terrorized him.

But even though God has given us chance after chance, and mercy after mercy does He eventually just say enough is enough.

Heb 4:3; For we who have believed enter that rest, just as He has said, "AS I SWORE IN MY WRATH, THEY SHALL NOT ENTER MY REST," although His works were finished from the foundation of the world.
Heb 4:6; Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly had good news preached to them failed to enter because of disobedience,
Heb 4:11; Therefore let us be diligent to enter that rest, so that no one will fall, through following the same example of disobedience.

Can our hearts (conscience) get so hardened to the point where God just says... OK, so be it.

1Tim 4:1; But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,
1Tim 4:2; by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,

Does God himself sometimes harden hearts?

Rom 11:25; For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;

In the case of Pharaoh... Pharaoh hardened his own heart many times, but eventually God hardened his heart.
Pharaoh hardens his heart over and over. Exod 7:13; Exod 7:22; Exod 8:19; Exod 8:32; Exod 9:7; .. until finally...
God Himself hardened Pharaoh's heart.
Exod 9:12; Exod 10:20; Exod 10:27;

Its terrifying to think of the lost going to a point of no return.

The most terrifying also is love ones who think they are on the right path and lead by church leaders into believing they truly are bless and the true way is evil spoken of. I Can almost see their faces in total terror and even that's is terrifying to me.

When I would read about how "Aaron and King David" felt and how they cried about those boys, seems like I can feel their pain and "Jacob" going through all that suffering, it builds a strong and deep Spirit in you, but that stuff hurt.
