A couple prayer needs...

Hi Friends,
There are a couple of things going on that we'd like prayer for. First off, Mark is unemployed and the financial situation is incredibly difficult. There are a couple possibilities right now, but we need prayer that God will lead Mark to the right job, and also that He will provide the health insurance that we need.
Secondly, we are attending a church that we like, but it just doesn't feel like it's the right fit for us. We attended a church a few years ago, that I had gone to for a long time. We had a bit of a falling out with the pastor, but my heart never left that church, which I think is part of the reason I haven't felt at home anywhere. Needless to say, I feel like it's time to make it right. I flew off the handle in anger over what was said a couple years ago. I need to apologize for that. Mark and I went and visited that church last night, which is where dad goes to church. It felt great being there again, and we got a warm reception. We asked the pastor if we could meet with him, and we are, tomorrow at 11 am EST. Please pray for this meeting. We want to make things right, and we want to find out if we will be ok coming back to that church.

Heavenly Father, we worship you today, we cry Abba father we call you Jehovah Jired.
Lord you know their hearts and you hear their pray request.

Father I ask that you bless them abundantly, spiritually and financially. Let everything work out for this family, mend broken tides within the church, bring peace and love among the members.
Lord have your way in that meetings.

I thank you for the Job my brother is getting soon, I praise you for the health insurance package this job will provide for this family. Bless them Lord.

Alright...here's the update.

Alright...here's the update. The meeting went very well. It was a totally different reception that we got 2 years ago, and they are willing to work with us. He did ask us to take it slow with coming back and not rush into membership. He also said that they would like us to show our stability before they put us into ministry. I understand this, because I know I personally haven't been the most stabile person, plus we have been church hopping for two years trying to find a place to fit. Needless to say, Mark and I both feel right about going back there. If I have to prove who I am, now, so to speak, I'm willing to do it to be where I feel God wants me to be.

We are meeting with the pastor of our current church in the next couple hours just because we don't want them thinking Maranatha has done anything wrong. It isn't that at all. I also have decided I will fulfill my commitment to Awana at Maranatha, because I don't like going back on my word.

Anyway, there's what's up!! I'm feeling pretty good about it.
