Five Steps on how to lose your salvation
Step 1. Abort yourself from the new birth.
John 3:3-7
3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." KJV
The above verses are talking about the first birth, born of water and the new birth by the Holy Spirit.
How can you be unborn? You did not have anything to do with your first birth. Your mom and dad can't even undo your birth. The same thing goes for being born of the Holy Spirit. All you did was receive the gift of God by believing in Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:23
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." KJV
Step 2. Unseal your soul
Ephesians 1:12-14
12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory." KJV
How are you going to unseal your soul, when you didn't even seal it in the first place. God sealed your soul, you didn't. You are sealed by the Holy Spirit and to say you can be unsealed is making salvation sound like a cheap zip-lock bag.
Step 3. Divorce yourself from the family of God.
John 1:12
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" KJV
Galations4:5
"To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons." KJV
You can't divorce your parents. You can be out of fellowship with them and you might even curse them, but the fact is, no matter what, they are still your parents.
It is the same way with your Heavenly Father. If you're a child of God, He is going to get you home, no matter what it takes. You know why? Because God is a loving Father and He's not going to disown you.
1 Corinthians 11:30
"For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep." KJV
You're going to have a rough time when you're out of fellowship with God, but the Holy Spirit will convict you and guide you back to the place where you need to be, no matter if He has to do it the hard way.
Step 4. Uncircumcise your heart, Reattach your soul and flesh.
Romans 2:28-29
28 "For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God." KJV
Colossians 2:11-12
11 "In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead." KJV
The above verses tell us that when you get saved, God cuts your soul loose from your body, so the Holy Spirit can dwell within you.
Romans 8:9
"But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." KJV
Your flesh sins, but your Spirit does not. Therefore you can't lose your salvation. Friend, you're either washed by the Blood of Christ and forgiven or you're on your way to Hell to burn forever.
Step 5. Amputate yourself from the body of Christ
1 Corinthians 12:13
"For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit." KJV
Ephesians 4:4
"There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;" KJV
If you took yourself out of the body of Christ, His body would be incomplete.
Jesus is able to keep you saved and don't you let yourself, your mom, your dad, your boss, your teacher or the devil tell you any different.
2 Timothy 1:12
"..I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day." KJV
Galations 2:16
"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith OF Jesus Christ, even we have believed IN Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith OF Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified." KJV
2 Timothy 2:13
"If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself." KJV
If you can lose your salvation, you must be trusting in something else besides God. All the verses people use to deny Eternal Salvation are either not talking about salvation or the message is not directed at Christians.
You can't lose your salvation, but if you get out of the Will of God, you can lose your joy, testimony, rewards, etc and possibly even your health.
I'll probably get people debating me about this, but save yourself some time and trust the Power of God. If you think you can lose your salvation, okay, but I'm putting all my trust in the Power of God. He is the good shepherd.
John 10:14
"I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine." KJV
Love in Christ and God Bless you all
