The Lord is my shepherd- Thats relstionship

I shall not want- Thats supply

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures-Thats rest

He leadth me beside the still waters- Thats refreshment

He restoreth my soul-thats healing

He leadth me in the path of righteousness- Thats guidance

For his name sake- thats purpose

yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death-thats testing

I will fear no evil- Thats protection

For thou art with me- Thats faithfulness

Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me- Thats discipline

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies- Thats hope

Thou annointest my head with oil- Thats conecration

My cup runneth over- Thats abundance

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life- Thats Blessing

And i will dwell in the house of The Lord- Thats sercurity

Forever- Thats eternity

I have read it twice.........I am always looking for something to share with our 'Luncheon Club'. This is a Monday gathering, a once every month dinner when my wife and I feed 50 + folks who come along for a meal followed with a 1 hour period of fellowship in Jesus.

Most are unsaved..........but enjoy comimg along.....my wife's cooking is a big attraction.

Pastor and I try to follow that with...........whatever we can give to point to Jesus.

Enjoyed the read........Can I use it....to promote Jesus and all that He is in Psalm 23

Greetings in our Shepherds Name, Jesus Christ the Lord,


A Psalm that speaks of our majestic Lord, and the Peace we have in Him.

Looking at each aspect you have given alongside each verse, we can see some of the many faces our Jesus. He is not a Lord of only a single need in our life, but is Lord of every facet of our life, and shines as the most precious of gemstones and then more as we only see dimly now and until this earth pass and we are done with this body, any more would utterly consume us.


1John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.


He is Love and fullness thereof, not lacking but giving our souls every peace in believing and we have a sure refuge in Him.
