Here is a cool test for those that have been taught this is two events, ask one of your friend who does not read the bible or know of such things as the pre-trib and post trib rapture to read and explain the 4 versus with no influence at all or coaching, I guarantee 10 out of 10 will say Paul is speaking of one event using the coming of the lord that day inter changeable with the day of the lord.

1. Paul tells us clearly what he is writing about the coming of Jesus, when we will be gathered up, this term is also used in Mathew 24 gathering his elect at his second coming

2. Look Paul is using the day of that the of lord in the exact fashion he was using the coming of our Lord, no way possible are these 2 events they are one event with using terms inter changeable

3. he is warning us not to be taken in by other false teachings,

4. now he is telling us what to look at for so that we that is coming soon when we see these things,
