[h=1]2 Peter 3:1-2King James Version (KJV)[/h]3 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in bothwhich I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2 That ye may be mindful of thewords which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment ofus the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

This is now,beloved, the second epistle that I write to you; and in both of them I stir upyour sincere mind by putting you in remembrance: 2 that you should remember thewords which were spoken before by the holy prophets and the commandments of theLord and Saviour through your apostles.

1 This shows that he wrote 1st Peter as well.There is not many times in scripture they mention how much they wrote, this isdifferently. This also shows that Peter wrote it to the same people. We shouldbe shaken up and stirred up at times for Christ. Christ allows us to becomepure.

2 We need to remember the words the Lord has given us, thescriptures. The bible came to us by the prophets, by priests and by othersincluding kings and the followers of Christ that followed before us. All theword bring honor to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. From the beginning to theend it is a story about Christ’s love and our need for Him.
