[h=3]2 Peter 1:2-4[/h]King James Version (KJV)

2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

New European Version

2Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.
3 Seeing that His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the precise and correct knowledge of Him that called us by His own glory and virtue. 4 Whereby He has granted to us His precious and exceedingly great promises, that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in that world by lust.

2 Grace and peace truly only come from Jesus Christ. We cancome in peace but not give peace. We also can be gracious but not truly givethe grace they need. The knowledge here is talking about faith something thateveryone does not have.

3 By His power we can, He gives us the strength to do whatwe can not to show us His power and to show others His power by us. We are asbelievers called to His presence or glory. He will can His values and start tolose ours, gain His virtues and character.

4 God had made promises; He keeps them and will keep them. The promise we as believers most look forward to no is being in His glory, which will come but until then He has a plan for us here on earth to change theworld by Him and not to be a part of the world.

God's Word says; He has given everyone a measure of faith. Amen.
Now, it is up to us to exercise that faith; faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things unseen.
Faith cometh by hearing; and hearing by the Word of God. We grow from faith to faith and glory to glory.
In order to grow in faith, to have stronger faith, we have to be willing to suffer for His names sake. Amen
Faith without works is dead; I speak in faith, God does the works.
Faith is confidence in God; that He will do what He said He would do; if I ask, and believing I receive, it shall be given me. Amen
I am confident in God; not myself. Amen.
Everyone wants to glory in the blessings of God, but no one wants to speak in faith so they can.
God is good and faithful to those that are faithful to Him. Amen.

When we separate ourselves from this world; one gets very close to God; and comes to know His ways and His will. Amen
God will feed you; He will cloth you; The world needs money, God doesn't. If I need money, God knows, and can, and will provide for His servant.
The more we do; the more God will let us do; but we rob ourselves from His awesome presence by doing so.
Everything put in this world is for vanity and vexation of spirit. Amen. It keeps our focus on the world and the treasures of the world and off God. Amen
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
We can not serve God and mammon too.
We seem to want the best of both worlds. These things ought not to be so.
His Word tells us, if we have the finer life here; we have our reward.
I wanted the finer life there. I sold it, gave it away, and walked away from the rest.
However, if I want a mansion, I have to still work for it. Speaking His Word in faith, suffering for His names sake, enduring tribulation and persecution until the end. Amen
Everyone wants a mansion, but no one wants to suffer anything to have it. Amen.
We have to be doers of the Word; not hearers only. Amen.

God bless you in Spirit and in Truth. Amen.
All praise, honor and glory be to God. Amen
