6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
EasyEnglish Bible Translation
v6 This is why even the dead people heard the good news about Christ. Their bodies had to die, as all people must die. But they heard the good news so that their *spirits could live. Their *spirits could live as God wants them to live.
v7 The end of all things is near. So, think seriously and clearly. And rule yourselves properly so that you can pray. v8 Continue to love each other very much. This is more important than anything else. If you love people, then you will always want to be kind to them. You will always be ready to forgive (choose to forget) any wrong things that they have done.

6 The gospel is preached to those who have already acceptedit and to those who have not yet accepted it. The gospel always growth for believersand brings the lost to the faith. We as the church should not focus on teachingthe gospel more to one group than the other because winning people to Christ bypreaching the gospel is important but preaching the gospel to develop believersinto service for Him is also important. Man will be judged by the gospel, whetherthey have received Jesus or not.

7 We should watch as things are done, the Lord will returnin His timing we need to focus on servicing Him in the meantime, be ready for opportunity.We should prayer for guidance in the Christian walk and His will to be done byus.

8 Love is important and is to be shown and not just said. Jesusshowed Hi love for us to dying on our behalf, we should show love by sharing Hislove with others.
