[h=3]1 Peter 3:15-16[/h]King James Version (KJV)

15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

15-16 but exalt Him as Lord in your heart. Always be ready to offer a defense, humbly and respectfully, when someone asks why you live in hope. Keep your conscience clear so that those who ridicule your good conduct in the Anointed and say bad things about you will be put to shame.

15 We are made pure thru our relationship and fellowshipwith God thru Jesus our Lord. We should be ready to answer this does not meanif we do not know the answer we should make something up, if we don’t know wecan try to find out and then come back to them and if we need to we can askthose we trust if we can not find the answer after we study ourselves, weshould not skip the step of trying to answer the question by looking for it ourselvesbecause they did come to us after all and not someone else for the answer.Jesus is often the answer to their problems. We should always be ready to shareour testimony this is something that we will not have to study for because itchanged our life and this story should grow as we do in Him.

16 We should live different than the world; the differenceshows that the Christians serve the Lord and that the world does not. If thoseof faith live as the world then they will not see a need for Christ since thereis no difference between them and the church the difference allows them to seethe need for Christ.
