[h=3]1 Peter 3:11-14[/h]King James Version (KJV)
11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
13 And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
[h=3]1 Peter 3:11-14[/h]The Voice (VOICE)
11 Walk away from the evil things in the world—just leave them behind, and do what is right,
and always seek peace and pursue it.
12 For the Lord watches over the righteous,
and His ears are attuned to their prayers.
But His face is set against His enemies;
He will punish evildoers.
13 Why would anyone harm you if you eagerly do good? 14 Even if you should suffer for doing what is right, you will receive a blessing. Don’t let them frighten you. Don’t be intimidated,

11 We are to allow working thru us, by doing this nothingbut good will come of it but doing good and right is not always the easiestthing to do. We should not seek conflict or strife but peace but living for Himwill bring conflict because the world hates the truth which we are to speak. Oftendoing what we want leads to sin but following Him never leads us to sin.

12 The Lord keeps watch on His followers and He guides themby His Spirit. The Lord will hear our prayers, this does not always mean theanswer will be what we want but there will be an answer. The Lord will bring judgmentagainst those who die without Him, He wants them to come to Him but they rejectHim.

13 No one can truly harm us, we are His may destroy the bodybut our soul is saved by Him because of our faith. People may try to harm usand try to destroy our faith; this is when we should go to Him the most. Theworld has tried to destroy Christianity and this will never happen.

14 Our sufferings will bring us rewards and may set examplesfor other followers. For example there is only a few followers killed inscripture for Christ’s name, Stephen, James and not many more but, we haveheard other stories of people dying for their faith which shows how that can bea witness even in future generations. All praise should b to Him but we canlearn from others who followed Him.
