[h=3]1 Peter 3:1-2[/h]King James Version (KJV)
3 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.
[h=3]1 Peter 3:1-2[/h]The Voice (VOICE)
Peter calls all believers to humility, submission, and service: everyone to God, citizens to rulers, slaves to masters, wives to husbands, and younger to elders.
3 1-2 In the same way, wives, you should patiently accept the authority of your husbands. This is so that even if they don’t obey God’s word, as they observe your pure respectful behavior, they may be persuaded without a word by the way you live.

1 Women are put under the authority of men even though, thisis not what they want but a Godly woman will seek a Godly man who she has noproblem submitting to. We as men should live in a way for woman to have respectfor us. Women were subjects to the father and then subjects to there husband atthis time. Today it is very different but Godly women will continue to live bythe scripture no matter how the world changes. If a man does not have arespectful wife he can not become a deacon on pastor in the church. A wifeoften can reflect her husband. Womenlook to get married while men may not.

2 A woman’s example for the world is how she respects herhusband. In today’s world a woman can really stand apart by doing this evenmore today than then. Women may not be able to witness as much as men or calledfor as much as men but the should support and strengthen their men for whatthey do, worldly women can not do this the way Godly women can.
