1 Peter 2:4-5

4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
4 Jesus is the rock of our salvation. In Him we stand firm on our faith. In Him our relationship with the Father is built. No man can man can remove the rock or Jesus from our life. No man will remove the rock from the world. We who have the faith are set apart by our faith; we are made special and have a bond with the Father thru Jesus.
5 We are building blocks of the faith which is built off Jesus. Just as we were shared the gospel and influenced by others we are to share the gospel and influence others in return. We are made priest to God by Jesus. We are to be dedicated to serving the Lord. We are to bring people to Him so He can do His work. We are to share His word with them. We at times may have to give things up to serve the Lord. Anything we may have to give up to serve the Lord is something we do not need. Anything we are not willing to give up could become a route of sin.
