Do Not Be Yoke Together With unbelievers, you have nothing in common, you may think you do, It is sad, but you don't.

There is a lunch potluck that my co-workers want to have for the holidays. I normally wouldn't attend. This year I am leaning towards attending, so I can share with them my faith in myLord Jesus. I am praying to be of good courage as the Lord is with me, and I see that as sheep we are sent amongst the wolves. And why did Jesus put me on that lampstand, anyway!?!? I am to love people kind of like the Samaritan who had mercy on that guy who was robbed/beaten, so he helped him :(. Shouldn't I warn them of their destination? Beyond this, I don't see any real fellowshipping with them.

One time I presented my testimony to an old friend once as he reached out to me and I allowed him to detox in my basement, eventually he checked into rehab. He got sober for a short while and hasn't been back since.

Also, my wife seems to be stuck on worldly things. Always wanting more stuff. I see that my treasure is in heaven! Our separate life-purposes puts tremendous strain on our marriage. She definitely isn't coming this way anytime soon, and my mind's made up to continue to seek and do the LORD's Word and plan for my life. Which takes me to Lot's situation. Was he unequally yoked in marriage to his wife?
 
Mister, it does sound a lot like an unequally yoked marriage. Never the less, she is flesh of your flesh, you and her are one, and she is sanctified through her husband of faith for the time being. Do the right thing, actions speak louder than words, perhaps your wife needs less words and more actions seen of her husband that shows his faith is real and not something only seen on sundays!!

Yes they can. I know of marriages with two ungodly people that have lasted for over 50 years. Still in love to this day. Love is love at the end of the day. Regardless of your values or beliefs, if you really love each other, you stand beside each other. This is the same as the relationship you have with God/Jesus, some things people read in the bible are not what pleases them, however because of the love you have for them, you dont leave. To much passion to do so, in both examples.

Let me say this. Suppose.
Jesus came into the world about a little over 2000 years ago. The light of Truth came in a dark world everyone is walking in darkness even the prophets of GOD. Although they prophesied they are still in the dark and really know nothing. Jesus finally comes and bear wittiness and expose the Truth. Everyone is a devil no one is a child of GOD everyone is a child of The Devil. He makes a way for some to be converted into a child of GOD. You brothers and sisters in Christ. And the old man died a real death and you became a new creature. Now you are a Godly baby. And you have to grow up. Do not do this do not hang around with unconverted people you are not like them stay away, they really hate you. They are demons and they don’t know it. And you are learning if you believe The Truth. As you grow in Truth and obey your guide your spiritual becomes more clear. Now do not marry one. No not hang out with them. If you do, you are going to suffer, because your hardheaded. And the way of a transgressors is hard. And by the time I get back: 2 are going to be in the bed 1 taken and 1 left.

Now ask me how I know, I read by Bible and have come into knowledge of the Truth.
You better keep your behind at home and keep quiet. Wolves hunts in packs, and the world loves its own.

you are different 2 different creature sleeping in the same bed. Now as you read you pay attention to the fine print. Christians comes in all kinds of garments.

Think, think, there is only two types of people in the world, converted and unconverted , children of Satan and children of God. Born from Above , and earth born. Jacob and Esau, I know it is hard to believe. But I know you know I am telling you the Truth. Because you have the Gift to recognize the TRUTH when you hear it. Now take it or leave it. Grow up! Take it like Man. Put some hair on your chest. If you believe you will see it in the Book.

The Authority Jesus is speaking is “Indicative” He received that authority to created every thing that exits before the foundation of the World he is referring too!
Jesus is the one that created everything that exist. Heaven, Angels, planets, oceans, every created thing, He is the Resurrection, He is The Salvation, He is The Life, and always has been, Jesus has never given up His power and had to receive more he always had power From day of His Begotten. God The Father is Beyond Power what ever that is my mind does not know what is Beyond All Power. Jesus all ways had all power. Now that is The Jesus I am referring too.
Jesus created The Devil!
He always had All Power since the day He was Begotten of the Father.
well if you think it is proper to “ give that which is Holy to Dogs and cast your pearls to pigs” do not mind me.
As far as I am concern, I am not training a unconverted creature to act like a child of the Living God, a goat or a wolf and put sheep or lamb clothes on so it can have the skills to destroy or have the skills to deceive one of my brother or sisters in Christ. I am not going to do it.
I only trained the children of God who have been “Born of God” how to be disciples of Christ. Meaning learning how to study Gods word, Students of the Bible. Everyone may do what they want I make students of The Bible. And when the books is open at the Bema Seat, and The Book of Remembrance is open it is written what I said and what I done.. Pertaining to my brothers and sisters in Christ. Whether they listen or not.

18Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19Therefore go and make disciplesd of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” That statement was aimed at the 12 apostles, not mankind. Please be careful and try not to take scripture out of context. This is a worldly problem that has permeated itself into organised religions.

I remember me and my wife used to sing gospels and hymns everyday at home, and i like to hear her sing this song. Then her church friends came in and she stop singing at home and stop praying and stop reading her bible at home and became a faithful church and program go'er, carrying her bible in her hand. A good and respectable church going christian.

I realize that I may not have to be spit on to know they hate me, as the Bible confirms that they do: John 15:18-22. I realize that I may be in danger of one of their spirits leaping onto me, causing undue harm and great trouble. But wouldn't this go to the intent of my "hanging around"? Now if I wanted to be accepted by them, then by all means that makes sense, but if not why would it get passed on to me?

Too late, at this point, I already have married one...she must have had a false conversion, as she "repented and was baptized" a week before me. Transgressor? I just don't want to deny the Lord before others. So I thought claiming Him as my Lord to others and sharing the gospel would keep me in His word Mat 10:32-33.

I see that, and totally agree. But take it like a man?? Do you mean like no social life, no having "fun" etc? I am totally content with my life without these social interactions and don't desire them. I thought I would go out to the street, no one person told me to (though have had some influences), but thought that would be part of His plan for his disciples? The gospel preached to all creatures. And maybe it's just too early for me as you know I am baby, near toddler of God.

The Lord prepared me this fast, guess on which day, @PloughBoy? Today, which is the "holiday potluck office luncheon". So guess what?! I'm not attending. :eyes:
