God wrote the Bible with His terms, not ours. In fact, I am still trying to learn myself every day. In order to fully understand the Scripture, accordingly, One MUST study to show thyself approved unto God.

2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Here are some of the reasons why knowledge of Biblical wisdom and understanding will increase on these last days of ours - based on Biblical prophecy.

Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Isa 42:16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

In other words.... How could Ancient Men and Archbishop James Ussher, who lived more than 350 years ago, understand that which God HIDES from Ancient people (who subscribed to Traditional Goatherder' Theology - who can not support their views with Scripture) that can only be understood by the people of the Last Days?

God has hidden His Truth in order to keep a plain reading from revealing His Truth of Genesis. It's the way God operates, I believe.

Pro 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

We live today in the last days as ll Peter 3:3-7 states. The Scriptural fact that the Scoffers of the last days (i.e. our opposing views on this thread) won't believe that Adam's world was totally destroyed in the Flood and that our world will be burned is the proof of their "willful ignorance".

2Pet 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
v6 Whereby the world that THEN WAS, being overflowed with water, perished: (Greek - Totally Destroyed)
v7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Again, remember, only willingly ignorant will always stumble to this Biblical Truth - even after being informed, repeatedly. Oh well....

I Do believe that the world created by God started out being perfect for Adam and Eve and all future generations. And man gradually became more and more wicked / vile people. God chose to destroy all people / animals from this world. It was Noah and his wife and family who were the only righteous people left. God gave them detailed instructions For the building of the ark and Noah and his family and each specie were taken into the ark. The earth was turned inside out during the flood. It Was world-wide rather than local.

Adam and Eve had the entire garden of Eden to enjoy Except for the tree of the knowledge of both good and evil. They were told to not even touch it or they would surely die. They believed satan's lie rather than following God's directions. They both ate some fruit and did gain all that knowledge. Lost their innocents as has every generation since then. Adam lived to be 900 + years but he Did die. Mithusala lived the very longest 960. Almost 1,000 but not quite.

God's Word says Nothing about a pre-Adamic race of people. That is based on evolutionary thought. It is Not Scriptural.

Eventually -- this present world Will be destroyed and the New Jerusalem Will be brought down from heaven by God, Himself. He will dwell forever with us / born-again believers.

God has given mankind the cross of Christ. The shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. His gift of salvation. But it must be accepted by the individual person.

Here's where you can reconcile Scripturally How Adam was formed (Hebrew- yatsar) from the Dust on the ground on the 3rd Day of Genesis BEFORE he was CREATED (Hebrew- bara') in the image and likeness of God, spiritually, on the 6th Day.

Genesis 2:4-7 shows that Man was formed of the dust the ground becoming a living soul on the THIRD Day:

Gen 2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,

As you noticed, the Earth was made on the THIRD Day. Gen 1:9-10 These verses are documenting the events of the THIRD Day.

v5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
v6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

Notice that these verses are continuing to identify the time on the THIRD Day BEFORE the plants, herbs, and Trees GREW. Gen 1:12-13

v7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

On the THIRD Day, the SAME Day the Earth was made but BEFORE the plants GREW, the LORD made man of the dust of the ground. Correct?

Read the next verses which confirm once again that Scripture is speaking of the THIRD Day.

v8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom He had formed.
v9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Notice that the Trees were made AFTER the LORD made Adam on the THIRD Day in total agreement with Gen 1:12-13.

@Seve -- At least I'm commenting to you by your name and not indirectly as you are to me. Everyone knows who you are referring to.

You can repeat your false info as much as you want -- it does Not make it fact.

Your 13.8 million years is totally evolution. You are combining info from various sources and including God's Word in it to make it sound feasible. That Still does Not make it right. That is pretty much what cults do -- they take enough of God's Word - the KJV since that's what's most accepted -- and mix in with it their own 'facts' -- bits and pieces of information from Other non-Biblical sources and present the results as Facts. And frequently no one is going to question it because no one wants to take time To look it up.

I've been in God's Word all my life -- I'm also familiar with evolutionary thought and some of the Gnostic information.

So -- subtract the evolutionary thought and the other info and stick Strictly To God's Word.

Your 3rd day Vs 9 - 13 -- no mention of man being formed on that 3rd day. The third day had dry land and seas and grass and herb that bear seeds and fruit trees -- vs 13 "So the evening and the morning were the third day.

the 6th day began with vs 24 and continues with male and female being created -- Vs 28 "Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it ; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

vs 31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the 6th day.

Notice that God created male and female -- who we later are told are Adam and then Eve --they were created able to have children. They were created with age. Not babies.

Same way with the rest of the creation -- God created the earth already able to produce food for people.

Genesis 2:4-7 " This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.
it's telling that before any herb or plant had grown and there was no man to till it -- that a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. "

In that passage there is no mention of the 3rd day. And THAT is because it didn't happen on the 3rd day. "vs 5 "and there was no man to till it."

So I'd have to say "No" -- incorrect.

Seve -- I actually have Googled your Ancient Traditional Goat Herders' Theology. Ya know what I found. It's actually fairly unflattering to You. And it's also unflattering to God's Word. It's Usually used by a person who tends to be atheistic in their views of Scripture.

It's kind of like You and those who also use that terminology are feeling the need to adjust God's Word in Genesis to fit how it really is meant to be understood. That is was written by illiterate men who were goat herders and didn't really know any better.

Now you're starting to use the phrase "in the day" which is not used in the Genesis 1 passage but is in the 5:1-3 passage -- Okay -- So?

So you're suggesting that because God is Spirit and said "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness -- that they were a spiritual being rather than a physical being? Well -- we find in John 3 -- Nicodemus is being told that a man has to be born Physically first and can Then be born spiritually -- or - in other words -- be 'born-again' / be 'saved'.

The 2nd part of the trinity -- Jesus Christ the Son of God -- was born physically as a baby and grew up as a Jewish son of the Jewish parents in a Jewish culture.

Genesis 5 :1-3 In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. "in the day" can Also be referring to it being in the 24-hr period of time.

Yes -- believe it or not -- those things Have happened.

Now -- 4:26 "And as for Seth, to him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on the same of the Lord."

Ah, no, 5:1 "This is the book of the geneology of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. This is Not 'the' creation event. It IS the geneology Of man Starting with Adam -- it is recapping how mankind came to be - in the likeness of God. It HAS been 'debated' as to what it means to be created in the likeness of God. Body, soul and spirit? God Is Spirit but Jesus Christ was in the form of a man when on this earth.

It IS saying that after the previous event in that verse -- Then men began to call on the name of the Lord.
