I am not Seventh Day. But I know of no major church denomination that doesn't believe in the rebuilding of the temple.

As far as your second statement about God inhabiting it, I tend to agree with you.

Rev 11:1; Then there was given me a measuring rod like a staff; and someone said, “Get up and measure the temple of God and the altar, and those who worship in it.
Rev 11:2; Leave out the court which is outside the temple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread under foot the holy city for forty-two months.

Apparently there will be a temple when the two witnesses come. The nations will trample it for 42 months (3 1/2 years) The two witnesses will
testify for 1,260 days (also 3 1/2 years). Where is this temple?

Rev 11:8; And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which mystically is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.

Where was the Lord crucified? Jerusalem.

Jesus said while he was in the temple, "destroy this "temple" and I will raise it back up" (John 2:19-21) Every one thought he was talking about the physical temple where he was standing, but he was referring to the temple of his body, which was destroyed, but is now raised back up just like Jesus said!!!

There actually three resurrections spoken of in the bible, and if you don't know them you will never understand anything about the rapture or the resurrection. Jesus said, "I am the resurrection, and the life" (John 11:25) Jesus is also known as the "first fruits" which was a term used by God in the Old Testament referring to the very first thing the nation of Israel was to do on every single "harvest". Israel was to offer the first fruits of every harvest unto God which was a reference to Jesus Christ.(1 Cor 15:23)

1Cor 15:23 But there is an order to this resurrection: Christ was raised as the first of the harvest; then all who belong to Christ will be raised when He comes back. (NLT)

1Cor 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. (KJV)

If Jesus is the "resurrection, and the life", then what happened to us at his resurrection from the dead?

Eph 2:5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, He gave us life when He raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God's grace that you have been saved!)
Eph 2:6 For He raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. (NLT)

If you do not believe this, then you do not believe the Bible!!!!

Col 3:1 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

How can anyone seek the things above unless they are already above where those things are to seek???

All born again Christians are sitting on the right hand of God in Christ in the heavenly places!!!! If you are not experiencing this in your life, it is only because you don't believe it!!! No one can experience things they don't believe!!

The rapture, or the catching away is the resurrection of the physical body, which is why it is called the resurrection of the "dead"!!! The word "dead" means "corpse". A "corpse" is a physical body!! Every single person who is in Christ is already sitting in heavenly places in Jesus!!! What we are waiting for, is to know the "resurrection" of the body!!!! (Romans 8:23) which will not happen until Jesus returns (not the second coming) but the catching away of his Church which is his body!!!

Every harvest spoken of in the Bible is made up of "three" separate sub harvests (resurrections) that are referred by God as only "one" harvest (resurrection). Jesus was the first (first fruits), the rapture (catching away, or the main harvest) as two, and the final resurrection at the end of the tribulation period (referring to the tribulation saints) also known as the gleaning.

Study the old testament harvest system that God commanded his people to keep, and you will see God teaching his people about what was going to happen concerning the resurrection of his people.

Of course Jesus meant his body and the body of christ not any physical temple building. We are his living stones, so anyone who talks about a physical temple being rebuilt in Jerusalem is sorely mistaken because it actually was destroyed..he said no stone would be left.he also tore the veil, so Its really you are the one whos mistaken.

Where were we when Jesus was resurrected? Well I wasnt there at the time. Were you? But we who were not witnesses take it on faith that he was raised and we will be raised with Him when we die. Its really quite simple, dont overcomplicate things.

We are seated in the heavenly places because he is talking of our spiritual rebirth but, we still actually die. Or as Jesus puts it, us believers fall asleep.

Jesus is going to bring heaven to earth we not going to be caught away as if the church now just mysteriously disappears like pitching a baseball into the outfield. Remember when the thessalonians letter was written, when revelation was written. Look in revelation where it says the things will come shortly to pass. He was speaking to israel specifically and he told them in matthew 24 to flee Judea Are you still in Judea?

You still havent explained about the 144000, and why Jesus chose twelve apostles reperesenting the twelve tribes of israel.

The temple was destroyed in ad 70 thats a fact and nobody does sacrifices there anymore. Jesus blood paid for everyone. He came for his people the elect firstfruits and us gentiles now have access to heaven.

What is there is just the outer wall which wasnt even part of the temple plan. Revelation 21:22 says there is no temple inside the holy city...the God and the lamb are the temple.

So really not sure what temple you talking about its already gone so nobody can set themselves up in a temple that no longer exists. Read some history and find out what happened to that temple.

What is there now, on the mount is the muslims claiming that allah muhummad is God, but we christians know he isnt, so he was also another of those antichrists Jesus warned about.

The spiritual resurrection and new life begins from baptism but as far as I know every christians earthly body does die even Jesus had to die before he was raised..nobody actually gets off this earth without dying!

The way you phrase it seems like you believe we will be caught up like enoch in a chariot and taken directly to heaven without physically dying. Well actually no it wont be like that. Every single disciple that was with Jesus was actually matryed, and even John who lived to an old age and looked after Mary did die.

Nobody can receive "eternal" life unless they "die" first, because the "penalty" for being a sinner is death! No Christian physically dies first, and then is raised into Heavenly places, as this has already happened when Jesus was raised from the dead. (that is if you believe the scriptures)

I surely don't remember eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, yet I am a sinner because I was "in Adam" when he did. I surely don't remember the nails going through my hands, and feet when Jesus was crucified, yet I died with him because I was "in him" when he was crucified. I surely don't remember being raised from the dead when Jesus was raised up, yet I was raised with him because I was "in him" when he was raised. Now the question is, can I experience this resurrected life today? Absolutely yes!!! How? By believing the scriptures in what they say.

Brother Dave, I appreciate your concern, and I have no eel feelings for anyone on this forum. The question that is always before us no matter who we are, or our position in life demands that we "believe" the Word of God. Maybe we might not know what the scriptures says, so that can give us a way out, but knowing it, and not believing what it says needs to be pointed out. The Bible tells us to have "faith" in God, but that can not be done unless we believe what it says. Love does not just let someone continue believing something untrue as it is willing to point these things out even if it is to it's own hurt, and be looked down upon. Jesus had no problems pointing out the error of the religious leaders of his day, and it seemed pretty harsh when we read it as being unloving, but that was not true.
