This is not about one person or the other saying something that is not biblical. Surely you understand that different assumptions and hence doctrine is made over verses that can mean different things to different people.

Sorry, I do not.
In the end, it does come down to one on one. You and God. You are responsible for your choices, not some choice
a group that you were part of made.
I believe there is an absolute truth in the Bible. Different assumptions and different interpretations are either made
by ignorance ( everyone is a little bit ignorant at some point ) or by deliberate choices "to be ignorant".

Some "Christians" have been Christians for years (decades even) but they don't know the Bible. They have no desire
to know the Bible, (in fact they have made a conscious choice NOT to know the Bible). So when it comes to things
like homosexuality, adultery, and sexual immorality, they don't have a clue what they really believe about it, or else
they simply believe something someone told them, or something they heard on the internet. Possibly even a pastor.

Other "Christians" do know the Bible, they can quote parts of it very well. But they pick and choose which parts apply to them,
and which parts do not. So even though they "know" the Bible they choose to ignore parts of it.

Even some Atheists know the Bible very well, Satan knows the Bible very well. (he quotes parts of it in the Bible).
My personal "favorite" (tongue in cheek sarcasm) is the "half-versers". Looking through the threads of the last few
weeks, and even just the messages posted today, I have counted over a dozen "half verses". A half-truth is a whole
lie. As the title of this thread says... "a small mistake". But in my view, it's not a "half mistake, or half truth, or small
mistake". It's a whole lie. There is therefore now no condemnation... (end of verse).
All things work together for the good... (end of verse).

Along with the "half-versers" are the "one word changers".
Examples would be... He is "in" us forever, when what the verse says is.. He is "with" us forever.
We are saved by faith "alone". But that verse doesn't say "alone". (However there is a verse in the Bible that says it is NOT faith alone).

These are the things that lead to misinterpretations and false assumptions. Not "small mistakes".

In Genesis 3... Satan asks Eve... did God really say you will "die"?
The woman knew the right answer. She quoted what God said back to the serpent.
If you eat the fruit... you will die.
So then Satan says... "you will not die".

All it takes is questioning one word. The oldest trick in the book (literally).
When we start doubting God's word.... bad things happen.

Newsflash: Adam and Eve aren't still alive.

But if they never ate of the fruit... they would be.

@Bendito and @B-A-C I tend to make my point as led by the Holy Spirit, and then if I see it will only lead to continued arguments, no matter how I support it from scripture, I assume to be speaking to a hardened heart. Because I don't like protracted useless arguments, I tell you both, believe what you will.

There is no scripture that says I should pass judgment on other Christians...I am to judge myself, or serve as an arbiter in a dispute among Christians if asked....There is no other judging at this time...We will judge angels but not humans.

I used to think that as well, but closer looking at the bible I think of it as do not be judmental, what I mean is if you are correcting someone out of love you had better not be guilty of the same thing, there are plenty examples in the bible where this is true, I think the bible makes it clear on telling us how to judge some one, I mean if a boy says he is a girl I think it is or Christian duty not to agree with him on the matter. But it is certainly safe not to judge anyone or is it are duty?, it is for sure one my biggest things I struggle with. Here are examples of judging in the bible

2 Timothy 4:14
Alexander the coppersmith did me great harm; the Lord will repay him according to his deeds.

3 John 1:10 -9
I have written something to the church, but Diotrephes, who likes to put himself first, does not acknowledge our authority.So if I come, I will bring up what he is doing, talking wicked nonsense against us. And not content with that, he refuses to welcome the brothers, and also stops those who want to and puts them out of the church.

Galatians 2
11But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. 12For before certain men came from James, he was eating with the Gentiles; but when they came he drew back and separated himself, fearing the circumcision party.a 13And the rest of the Jews acted hypocritically along with him, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy. 14But when I saw that their conduct was not in step with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas before them all, “If you, though a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?”

And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector

So I think its important to show people the error in false teachers that could lead them to hell !! but I agree we must not be judgmental when we do this type of thing, and its a very thin line which I have been guilty of crossing plenty of times, Lord forgive me !!!

How do you come to the conclusion that a caution is a judgment? These verses all talk about this kind of judgment....
Matthew 16:19 (AMP)
19 I will give you the keys (authority) of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth a]">[a]will have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth b]">[b]will have [already] been loosed in heaven.” Paul judged that this man's actions were not legal. and told the people what needed to be done about it.
There is a vast difference between judging actions and judging a person.
