The Unsolvable Saying

Gospel for Asia
ANS..News release

MADHYA PRADESH (ANS) -- Going home for Christmas break from his Bible college was a big decision for Prasad. His whole family had turned against him when he received Christ. They tried to force him to deny his new faith, and when he refused, they kicked him out of the family. But Prasad stood firm in his faith, and even went one step further. He decided to go to Bible college to become equipped for ministry himself.

Prasad now hoped to share the love of Christ in his village while he was home on his first Christmas break. Knowing he was coming, the villagers planned a meeting to pressure him into denying Christ. On the given day, about 700 people gathered with plans to beat him, and excommunicate him and his family from the village if he refused to turn his back on Christ. They summoned Prasad before the village council and the crowd.

“Why did you leave your gods and goddesses?” someone asked him. They demanded his answer, and further demanded that he bow before their holy book, Ramayana, which they believe is a physical representation of one of their gods.

At GFA Bible colleges, students like Prasad learn how to share the love of Jesus despite opposition
Prasad boldly refused their demands, which filled them with anger. Even in the highly hostile environment, Prasad was bold enough to confront the crowd with a question.

In the Ramayana, there is a saying, “Those who know three letters of love are wise.” Prasad asked the people if they knew what the three letters were. When no one answered, he told them.

In the Hindi language, truth is spelled with three letters. Prasad answered by repeating the Hindi word, and went on to explain from the Bible that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. He then shared how that truth would set them free; that Jesus alone can save, and He would never leave them.

The crowd listened in astonishment and gratefulness. Instead of carrying out their plans, they asked him to share more about Jesus during his school break.

Praise God for using Prasad to share the Gospel with 700 people at once! Leaders in Madhya Pradesh ask for prayers that Prasad will continue to boldly share his faith and that many of the villagers will know the truth and receive Jesus as their Savior.

This man is a great example of what a true faithful believer should be. Faithful without wavering, not a hypocrite, courageous and of courese, loving the enemy [ie, those who persecute you].

"The crowd listened in astonishment and gratefulness. Instead of carrying out their plans, they asked him to share more about Jesus during his school break. "

You just have to love that outcome. Praise GOD for that!

Jesus saves.

Amen, brother.

I totally agree with you.

Chad.....This man is a great example of what a true faithful believer should be. Faithful without wavering, not a hypocrite, courageous and of courese, loving the enemy [ie, those who persecute you].

But whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm" Proverbs 1:33

Is this taken from real events sister?

I am sorry for asking such a strange question. It's just that I feel some of these Christian organizations are capitalizing on peoples emotions.

Brother Chad, do you know this organization? Is it trustworthy?

God bless

Jesus Saves

I would hope that the stories they publish are real, if not it's not us they're fooling but God.
The story was broadcast on a christian station , I went to the website to read more.

ASSIST is an international ministry started sixteen years ago by journalist and author, Dan Wooding and his wife, Norma, as a way to help Christians living under difficult circumstances, and to share the Gospel with those who do not know Christ.

I understand your concern with such organization, trying to peddle money from christians. And I will do a thorough investigation into this organization and every other one that I post from.

If I do find any un- biblical doctrines link to them, I will re-post and the stories can be removed.

Gospel for Asia is indeed a valid trustful Christian organization. They are one of the biggest out there and they do not ask nor beg for money at all. I've been a support for a few years now and they always send out free books and magazines, no questions asked nor request for donation.

Jesus Saves

Thanks Chad for that confirmation,
My sister have received booklets from them, and their free book

I mention assist news, in the previous post because they also have the story on their site.

God bless

Hi sister, please don't take me and my silly questions personally. I have become weary of so called Christian organizations, based on the teachings and broadcasts of Christian television networks such as TBN and Angel network and the likes.

The reason for this is that they spread false messages, getting people to believe what they say and use the people's money. It has "nothing" to do with you as a person, or your choice to post this article.

I had to ask the question for my own peace of mind. Thank you so much for sharing it sister. God bless you

Thanks brother, please read the above to understand why I posed that question. God bless you.

You're to sweet....

Brother I understood why you asked it's ok......:girl_hug:

The bible did say to test the spirits.

You have a bless day.

Your sister in Christ

Good story

The story is good. As an Indian, Prasad has not done much. Indians specially Hindus suffer much for Christ's sake. Gospel for Asia has an evangelic ministry as I know personally. But now it is in a backsliding position as it joined with Ecumenism and the founder is a priest now in an Episcopal church. It is a slight backsliding. But so many believers under it got cheated of the Bible Doctrines.
