Understand the jewish faith

Being a Christian, I have been taught from my youth about Christ. I have accepted him as my Savior. But I guess I’m still confused about other people, IE: The Jews. If they are indeed “God’s chosen people” You mean God will condemn them if they don’t accept him? How will they get to heaven without Christ? Or since they are “his people” do they get a ticket anyway? With the millions of people in general, that have been born through time, it sure would seem that hell is going to be a much bigger place than heaven.
The reason the Jews came to mind is because I had a real chance to talk with a large group of them. I work for a major hotel and we have them at our facility celebrating Passover. It is un-real what they had to go though to use our facility. We had to change over many of our electronic faucets and toilets, because they were not allowed to use them. We had to press the buttons on the elevators for them and even turn on their lights and adjust their thermostats, cause they couldn’t touch them either. In our banquet kitchen we had to build a separator wall, to divide the dairy half of the kitchen from the meat. Plus after they blessed, “Koshered” it, no infidel was allowed to enter. It’s like we were “un-clean.” WOW! What a lot of rules. They say it’s all in the old testament how they are supposed to do these things. Sure confused me.

Let's investigate this question from the eyes of the Apostles, whom were taught and instructed by Jesus Himself.

Romans 3
All the World Guilty
1Then what advantage has the Jew? Or what is the benefit of circumcision?

2Great in every respect. First of all, that they were entrusted with the oracles of God.

3What then? If some did not believe, their unbelief will not nullify the faithfulness of God, will it?

4May it never be! Rather, let God be found true, though every man be found a liar, as it is written,
"THAT YOU MAY BE JUSTIFIED IN YOUR WORDS,
AND PREVAIL WHEN YOU ARE JUDGED."

5But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? The God who inflicts wrath is not unrighteous, is He? (I am speaking in human terms.)

6May it never be! For otherwise, how will God judge the world?

7But if through my lie the truth of God abounded to His glory, why am I also still being judged as a sinner?

8And why not say (as we are slanderously reported and as some claim that we say), "Let us do evil that good may come"? Their condemnation is just.

9What then? Are we better than they? Not at all; for we have already charged that both Jews and Greeks are all under sin;

10as it is written,
"THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE;
11THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS,
THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS FOR GOD;
12ALL HAVE TURNED ASIDE, TOGETHER THEY HAVE BECOME USELESS;
THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD,
THERE IS NOT EVEN ONE."
13"THEIR THROAT IS AN OPEN GRAVE,
WITH THEIR TONGUES THEY KEEP DECEIVING,"
"THE POISON OF ASPS IS UNDER THEIR LIPS";
14"WHOSE MOUTH IS FULL OF CURSING AND BITTERNESS";
15"THEIR FEET ARE SWIFT TO SHED BLOOD,
16DESTRUCTION AND MISERY ARE IN THEIR PATHS,
17AND THE PATH OF PEACE THEY HAVE NOT KNOWN."
18"THERE IS NO FEAR OF GOD BEFORE THEIR EYES."

19Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God;

20because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.
Justification by Faith
21But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,

22even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction;

23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

24being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;

25whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed;

26for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

27Where then is boasting? It is excluded By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.

28For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.

29Or is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,

30since indeed God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith is one.

31Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law.

I think the question should rather be. Like the last part says, is God the God of the Jews only, or for the Gentiles too? He is the God of both. In that one sentence we understand that the old ways have passed, there is no more room to say that Israel, the Jews, are the Nation of God, because all nations of the World belong to God.

1 Corinthians 1:22-24
22For indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom;

23but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness,

24but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

Do you know what's interesting? The Bible speaks more about the issue 1 Corinthians 1:22-24 raises. The fact remains that the Jews do not want to believe in Jesus, He is a stumbling block to them. And the Gentiles (All other Nations) think that the message is foolish.

This is true in both events. I have seen it on a daily basis. Everyone else makes fun about Jesus, they joke about His power and glory, but to the Jews, they just don't believe in Him, He is a hazzard, a block in their path.

Yes I do understand what Jesus was saying to his apostles. All are guilty and unjust, so we are ALL lost without Christ. So as I said, with so many who don't trust in Christ as their savior, they are all lost, and again, Hell must be a really big place. I was told by someone, that at least one point in time in EVERYONE'S life they have be presentled with the the Gospel of Christ. So really they have no excuse if they were not told. Basiclly they are chosing their own destiny, hell. Does that make sence? Sure seem sad though, The Jewish people seem so dedicated in what they do.

John 3:16
“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

I agree that all will have been presented with the Gospel in their lives, which is their chance to choose or reject Jesus. The grace of GOD is very clear that He does not want any to perish. Those who do have made their choice out of their own GOD given freedom.

I don't know about that and I don't think anyone can really say for sure. Only GOD knows, but either way its about each individual anyway. I don't think any person can determine what Jewish peoples' motives are personally with Christ. We are not capable of assuming such. God knows all, and we must pray for the world that the Father's will be done.
