hello, I would like to keep myself anonymous for now. However i will say i am a student and i am dealing with a sin i do not think i can beat on my own. Please pray that i may be able to do what is necessary to please Jesus.

So many people have been misled into believing that by their own efforts they must try to please God. There's quite a list of religions that teach that if you jump through certain hoops, you have a chance at attaining what is their idea of heaven. They are terribly, terribly wrong.

In Chapter 10 of the Book of Romans (Ro 10:1-13), the apostle Paul lays out the facts about the effectiveness of our attempts at righteousness. Please read and meditate on this chapter and remember, we at Talk Jesus are anxious to help you find your way through the quagmire you are in and we will love you until you can love yourself.

"And without FAITH it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek (relationship with) him." (Hebrews 11:6).

You will find lots of help around the forums in your walk with Jesus. Make sure you put on the armour every day. Read Eph.6.10.

Give each day to Jesus. Pray and know that He forgives our sins as soon as we confess them to Him.1 Jn.1.9 He even forgets unlike us humans.
