I have spoke to a women and I am a bit lost on this because dose God get angry and stuff like that, because this women said that I can't make God angry and he dose not get angry???? So what I don't understand is, is that you or if you look close to the bible you can see that God has almost different emotions and I know and thought I saw something in the bible where God was angry:embarasse

Yes God does get angry. Do you get angry? The reason for this would be that you are made in the image of God

Do you read the Bible? If you do, you would see clearly that GOD gets angry. That is His Holy, Divine, perfect right. He is Sovereign, therefore He gets angry.

When we sin, assuming we desire to grow, mature and be pure like Jesus, GOD may get angry at our sin, but its out of love not condemnation. Proof? Jesus Christ on Calvary.

You have been a born again Christian since last April. You must have read by now when God gets angry with people in the Bible.

Read this passage. Psalm 145 NIV.

8 The LORD is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and rich in love.

There are lots of references to this if you look up slow to anger you will see different books in the Bible showing this. Also type in the word 'God was angry' Here is a link for you. You get to choose which version to read too.

Psalm 78
31 God's anger rose against them;
he put to death the sturdiest among them,
cutting down the young men of Israel.

59 When God heard them, he was very angry;
he rejected Israel completely.

These are just a few examples. There are a lot to read and learn from in the Bible dear brother.

God bless :love: :rainbow: :rose:

OHHHH, Hmmm? Well I guess I was always right after all but that woman told me that God don't get angry but um ok

I suggest you ask that woman to start reading the Bible before speaking of it. She certainly could not have possibly read the Bible to speak such words. Pray for her brother

The one who should be embarrassed is the one who told you lies. Follow the advice of Chad and start praying for this person so that she would be able to see the Light and then she would be able to lead the young ones on the right road not the road of doom but the only Way of Jesus.

does God get angry

yes he does all the answers are so true, and God also rebukes those he loves and i want to tell you something you should pray for the lady yes but there is another problem many people just talk about God and they dont know him. she was just trying to have a conversation with you and try to get your view point on that topic, and i truly beleive that she expected you to give her an answer to that question because many people see that you are born again and they want to try and out you to a test but brother my advice to is that you read the bible daily so that when the enemy attacks you, you can throw him with the word of God.

and i dont think tha lady got a problem you are in the light so shine bright

Yes, God absolutely does get angry.

In fact, wrath is one of God's divine attributes...He IS wrath, as much as he is love. But His wrath is always just.

That makes me mad!

Not really. But not only does God get angry in too many places to list, but even St. Paul gives the advice in Ephesians 4:26 "Be angry and sin not." God has emotions, and since he made us in His image, knows that we have them. Thus the advice to go ahead and feel anger, but don't let it carry you into sinful actions. God also feels anger (especially at sin) and the attempt to deny it is just a false attempt to "spiritualize" everything and everyone (including God).

Getting angry isn't acting angry...

A lot of people don't want to deal with the idea of God being angry because they don't understand God...or anger. But the Bible is chock full of accounts of God being angry and/or wrathful -- and if the Scripture is to be taken as true, then that uncomfortable bit has to be true as well.

God doesn't have anger the way we do though.

God may have anger -- but He also has infinite control. God may choose to feel anger, but He has infinite power to avoid acting irresponsibly just because of feeling it. He doesn't make snap judgements (lucky for us) or act rashly out of that anger the way humans might.

Still...He's not one I'd want to make angry at all if I can avoid it:shade: .
