May God Protect,Guide and Bless us All. Amen!

With love  and regards to everybody!

My brothers and sisters, I live in a country which is predominantly moslem and I have many moslem friends in my class.

I want to know what is the degree of acceptance in Chirstian beliefs towards islamic beliefs regarding God and status of Jesus Christ? And how can we all come together and be like fellow humans who are Sons of One common parents (Adam and Eve) and diminish hatred from our world?
We know that our Creator can only be One who surely loves everyone of us and wants us to do better in this life which He has set as a test for us.

I think, it is no Good(Greatness) to be good with those who are good with you.
But it is Good(Greatness) to be good with those who aren't good with you.

How far I know, we have many commonalities with Islamic religion than the differences. Moslems respect and believe in Jesus Christ and Virgin Mary. And their Holy Book, 'Koran' puts them on the hightest level of honour. Beliefs of One God, Hereafter, Revelations, Prophets is same. Birth and Miracles of Jesus Christ is same. Except they have problems with idea of 'trinity' and they don't belief in Jesus Christ as being anything more than a pious messenger from God. And they differentiate God from anything in the creation(which is confined in time and space).

So my question is how close we are in our beliefs and how can we narrow gaps. And is there any room for acceptance of other beliefs in our our set of beliefs? Can Islam be also considered as any branch of Christianity like others?

Thank you.

The main and only answer is no dear brother, let me elaborate.

Jesus said this:

John 6:43-45
43"Stop grumbling among yourselves," Jesus answered. 44"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. 45It is written in the Prophets: 'They will all be taught by God.' Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me.

I have a massive issue with the Christian faith, the fact remains that every Christian on earth has been drawn to the Son of God, by the Holy Father.

There is not one Christian, not one that has not been drawn by Father.

So now you pose the question, Does Father draw the muslims? The answer is no. They deny Jesus. Jesus said.

Matthew 10:32-38
32"Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. 33But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.

34"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35For I have come to turn
" 'a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her motherinlaw—
36a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.'

37"Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; 38and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

He also told us to believe in Him, we should believe He is the God of all, the Son of God, being God Himself, Romans 10 and John 3:16.

I doubt the Lord Almighty gives room for this so called "acceptance" and "tolerance" of other religions, or belief systems, I say again, belief systems.

There is only one belief system in the Christian life, belief and faith in Jesus Christ.

John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

I am fully aware that you are a Christian in a muslim oriented country, but don't be fooled brother. Jesus and God hates, they hate evil, they hate the wicked.

That is my opinion and as I stand here and I believe that is the opinion of our Mighty Triune God, Yahweh, Truth and the Word.

God bless you
Much love

Very good response teraside, and I would like to add one more passage.

John 8:19
“Where is your father?” they asked.
Jesus answered, “Since you don’t know who I am, you don’t know who my Father is. If you knew me, then you would know my Father, too.”
I know that there are many religions including Judaism and muslim, who claim to worship and know Yahveh, although they may know about Him it is impossible to know Him without coming to know Jesus the Son of God and the Christ first.

Common items to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam? Not many. While Muhammad was willing to create a world where all three could exist together, he essentially rejected the message of the Christian gospel and substituted his own. In essence, he tried to return people to a form of Mosaic Law. It's true the Noble Qu'ran has a few stories of Jesus, and they portray him as a prophet much like the prophets of the Old Testament. Christianity and Islam cannot peacefully co-exist. I do not say this to be mean spirited, but they are simply too diverse in their doctrine. Islam is closer related to Judaism.

I will tell you this and it's an undeniable fact: Muslims claim the Bible has been corrupted by the Christians as taught by Muhammad. They cannot tell you what the original Bible stated because they replaced it, not corrected the errors.
