Trouble with testifying

Hi all,

I will be getting baptised soon and will have to testify. I'm not sure what to say. I want to talk about how Jesus has loved me and the many blessings He has bestowed upon me (even though i don't deserve them), but i can't find the right words. I think about it all the time and i have prayed on it. No words can describe the way i feel about Him. My heart is so full just thinking of Him, talking about Him and everything word or sentence i use doesn't give the feeling justice.

I also want to touch others who have not yet accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

I know God will intervene, He will help me say what needs to be said, i just wanted to get this off my chest and maybe get some more advice.

Not to worry how to?

You need to have courage to proclaim Jesus as the Lord and savior...You need not worry what to say and how to say...the Holy Spirit witll speak through you...just remain cool...

it is so cool to hear you passion for Christ . i am striving to keep my love for Him fresh. funny thing is there is no need to strive , just accept what He has done and how much He loves me . what you are talking about is what alot of people call a popcorn testimony . something 3-5 minutes long that tells about your experience of salvation. GLORY !!! how awsome Christ is !!!! you could sit down and pray , ask Holy Spirit to do His thing and write what you want to say. you can read over it several times before your baptism and try to remember the main points or you could take it with you and ask someone to give it to you when you are ready to read it . this will help you to relax and enjoy your baptism. the fact that you are getting baptised is one public testimony. what you say blesses God and is for others also.

baptism is an outward act of an inward condition . spiritually we have been baptized into the Body of Christ. baptism is like a celebration of this and it helps us understand what has taken place. you are a real encouragement to all of us please keep me up to date with your new found love in Christ. what has He shown you or done for you lately ?

You have testified very well informing us about your faith, in this thread. It was good to read about it. When the baptismal day arrives relax and enjoy. Not every day is a water baptismal day.
