April 2026 - Exactly seven years before the death of Jesus 2000 years ago.
For me the most significant dates for an end time event to occur, have been 1993, 2000, 2026 and 2033.
This is because of four scripturally sound facts:
1. The tribulation is seven years.
Dan 9:24-27, Dan 12:7, Rev 11:2-3, Rev 12:6, Rev 13:5
2. It is at the very end of the sixth day.
Rev 20:1-6, Dan 9:24-2
3. The unknown date is not the start of the tribulation, it is the rapture.
Matt 24:36, Mark 13:32
4. Following the biblical genealogies of man, places us at around the 6000 year mark today.
Masoretic Text (MT): This Hebrew text, the basis for most modern Protestant and Roman Catholic Bibles, places creation at approximately 4000 BCE, suggesting mankind is around 6,000 years old today. The period from creation to the Flood is calculated as 1,656 years in the MT
--------------------
Many assume the end of the tribulation is the unknown date that Matt 24:36 refers to. The day of Jesus's 'second coming'. But that for me is extremely naive. Every single angel and person living before the flood that can count (all of them) knows the first day of Adam and Eve and the 6000'th day of mankind. Now note that Matt 24:36 says nobody except for God knows the day and the hour.
Matt 24:36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
-------------------
As such, if we take the date of Jesus's birth and death as 'end time' significant, the years 1993, 2000, 2026 and 2033 should be years to watch.
I believe that Apr 2026 or Apr 2033 could be the start date of the tribulation.
Why is this significant? Well Jesus tells us why in Matt 24:21
NIV - Matt 24:21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.
Amplified - Matt 24:21 For at that time there will be a great tribulation (pressure, distress, oppression), such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will [again].
100% the second scariest verse in the bible. Scariest being Matt 25:46 if you are living in unrepentant sin.
Matt 25:46 Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.
