It would seem . I would think you are diluting oneself of some "wonderful thing", imaginarily rebuking other brothers and sisters when only the unseen Lord has the power to rebuke or rise to new eternal spirit life ..Chrsit alone is the one good teaching master

I think you're confused about what it means to profit in the Lord.
To profit in the Lord is to gain love, and to live righteously. The Lord said, whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. The Lord above all is teaching us to love with the love of God in our hearts through His grace, which He has poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit.
Christ Jesus, in His Infinite Glory with the Father, died on the cross for us to grant us a home with Him in Heaven, His Holy Presence with us as we sojourn together on the Earth, and the eternal remission of our sins by the shedding of His priceless, sinless blood. In doing so, He taught us by example what perfect love is and gave us the Image of His Father, our Glorious maker God, and granted us access to Him through the adoption into His family through the redeeming purchase by His own blood.
When it comes to the carnal mind, this is mentioned graciously in the scripture in reference to a body of believers who were still in the process of sanctification and remission of their sins, and so were still captives to differing sins, yet still redeemed by Christ's precious blood & purchase. The Spiritually minded person is focused on the things of God, which are the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
