Well said.
If you ever have the opportunity to read the book, you might find joy in the reading of this young man seeking the Holy Spirit from the jungles of Africa to the US, back in the 1800's. The book itself is hard to find since I believe it is out of print, and printed in 1928, but if you can find it, it is worth the read on what walking in faith looks like for one man.

I did share a short movie of his life here on TJ, but I'm sure the book is much better. :)

I know this was from another post meant in reply for them and only copied for me or for whoever reads it.
I will tell you that it all goes hand in hand. There is more than one component to what we do with the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit.
The Bible which some do call the Word of God, is part of it as well and should not be neglected. The same with prayer, worship, and coming together in brotherhood of the faith.

Blessed is the feet of those who bring the Good News. However, knowledge without use/application does no one any good. Just like hearing the Holy Spirit but not following His guidance, won't do you any good either. And why his guidance and understanding are so important in all of it. Don't be so quick to discard what some do in reading/quoting His word. Just check/verify, in love, how they are using it to further the Kingdom of God, and their walk with the Lord. For after all we each, and not collectively, must give an account of this one day.

Sadly, I know I fall short of this in so many ways and also know I will be on my knees seeking His mercy & grace for being wanting, and not all that I could have been. Still, I will continue to walk, and crawl forward, for where else is there to go for me or anyone who seeks life, but to the Lord.

So, temper your refrains to others is all I ask, that though the path be narrow, it yet might be filled to overflowing with brethren in Christ Jesus. To God's Glory and Praise! \o/

What is evil?
What is it that you call evil that you have done elsewhere but not here?
Are you seeking contrition, or that you are no longer allowed there to continue who knows what?

I don't ask you to like me, but to love me as I love you. If, you are a brother in Christ Jesus since you have not stated that you are. Your bio is blank, you have come with no letter of introduction, nor have your words been of love and desirous for unity with the Body of Christ. Maybe, you are meant to be chaff amongst the wheat; I do not know, but in time the truth of it will rise to the surface. There is always time while there is breath in one's lungs in this life to come to Jesus. He will not reject you.

I have little expectation from you. That you don't abuse those who come here to grow in God's Word and find a little solace in an ever-darkening world. Like has nothing to do with it and time is too short to be concerned with that, but Love is something else. For you would not know love if He had not first loved you/us and is eternal.

Three things will last forever--faith, hope, and love--and the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 NLT

The Lord did not appoint you as a moderator nor do you have some divine authority. Chad appointed you as a moderator and gave you authority over his website. Not the Lord.
And even if the Lord had given you divine authority and appointed you to be a moderator over his website, then the bar for you would be far more higher than the bar for me. You go on and talk you talk, and beat on your chest and say what you will to me about me before the Lord. We shall see how this all plays out in the end. Like I told your two friends, and they would not listen, we shall see what God has to say about it.
