Reply to "HOT TAKE: NOTHING (NOT EVEN GOD) SHOULD EXIST." #1
Hello
@Nig,
Your opening post shows the Power of God (
1 Corinthians 1:24 (all citations are links)) because you were here, existing, when you started this thread.
Look around, you are surrounded by God's creation
because He says the creation should exist (
Genesis 1:1-31). See, all the neurons, millions of them, interconnecting the rod and cone cells between your eyes and brain producing a coherent image in your visual cortex of the posts on this site -
an amazing and orderly system created by God.
The Grand Creator created you, the creature, in the image and likeness of God (
Genesis 1:26).
The title of this thread which you created contains a premise in which you exalted yourself above Lord and God Jesus Christ (
John 20:28). You are not the first, though,
@Nig, because the historical account of Job has an overwhelming response by the Lord God Almighty:
Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if you have understanding.
(
Job 38:4)
Please, take a few minutes to listen, here:
You have
no right to destroy God's creature, that is, you, yourself,
@Nig! I saw you initiated another thread titled "
I want to commit suicide".
Whatever it is that contributes to your despondency which you feel, that needs to be amplified unimaginable orders of magnitude to not even approach the everlasting torturous agony of being separated for God for the crime of murder of God's creature, and I am talking about the sin of murdering yourself.
One is either a slave of sin (
John 8:34) or slave of righteousness (
Romans 6:18). One is known by one's works, that is, fruit.
The devil has hounded me, sometimes in the dead of night, but I cry out to Jesus, and Jesus strengthens me. The Holy Spirit of God assures me that Christ, who is in me, is greater than the devil, who is in the world (
1 John 4:4)!
I inherit victory over death from my Savior Jesus Christ, so I live in the promise of joy unspeakable.
@Nig, you are defenseless and subject to terror without the armor of God (
Ephesians 6:10-18).
Cry out to Jesus, the Lord.
A wretch saved from the wrath of God by the Grace of God,
Kermos
