Sproul says he didn't know why Adam sinned - just shows he was no Bible student.
Then he slanders GOD by claiming Adam was reated with inherent sin!

It is evident that there are many misandrist Jezebels to be found in religious circles today! We hear men called misogynist so often today, I thought it would be nice to read the other word concerning hatred, this one of hatred of men.

Reading your posts brings to my memory a statement in the Systematic Theology of Robert L. Dabney that has always stayed with me when discussing doctrine.

"But the attempt to form a science of polemics, different from Didactic Theology fails; because error never has true method. Confusion is its characteristic. The system of discussion, formed on its false method, cannot be scientific."

Dr. Dabney, though Presbyterian and I am Baptist, he has always ranked high with me as a knowledgeable man of God. He's one of my favorites, along with the 18th century Baptist theologian John Gill.

I do not judge respected men of God by posted quotes that are likely to be taken totally out of context. I do not go watching videos from a forum, and certainly not one 56 minutes long to search what claim you are making about Dr. Sproul. I try to give web addresses for my quotes so readers can go read the quote in context.

It seems that it is not R.C. Sproul who is a "pompous selfrighteous fool". Do you call Jesus a liar when he said -

He replied, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:43 NRSV)

Paradise is synonymous with heaven, according the Paul's inspired writing -

I know a person in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know; God knows. And I know that such a person—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know; God knows— was caught up into Paradise and heard things that are not to be told, that no mortal is permitted to repeat. (2Cor 12:2-4 NRSV)

For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this tent we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling— ...So we are always confident; even though we know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord— for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we do have confidence, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. (2Cor 5:1-2, 6-8 NRSV)
