Yes, of course he means what he means, but "YH means what He says" means nothing, what matters is how WE understand what he means. The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit, it's our only weapon, and we're expected to sharpen it and wield it in the battle.

Jesus talked about money more than any other subjects, because He surely knows that not only is it alive and kicking, but it's the strongest contender among all idols vying for love and devotion. Give, fast and pray are the three basic practices, but if we don't even have enough for ourselves, what do we have to give others?

I just faithfully read what the Bible says and meditate on it. If two messages seem to contradict one another, than it calls for wisdom to sort it out. I feel sorry for what you have been through, ma’am, but if you wanna have a clue, go study His words, and have an ear that’s willing to hear.
