There is of course a hierarchy in the God head. Jesus although He is God.. has a God. He Himself is part of that God.

Some people have a family. They love their family. Even though they themselves are part of that family.

A foreign diplomat was recently rescued by some special forces troops sent by his government to save him, even though he himself is part of that government.

Jesus (the man) has a God, even though He Himself is part of that God.

Gen 1:1; In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

John 1:1; In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:2; He was in the beginning with God.
John 1:3; All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

Jesus was with God, and Jesus is God.

Col 1:16; For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.

Proof Jesus is God. Even the Father calls Him God.

Heb 1:8; But of the Son He says, "YOUR THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER, AND THE RIGHTEOUS SCEPTER IS THE SCEPTER OF HIS KINGDOM.

One finds at Psalm 45:7--- You( Jesus) have loved righteousness and hated wickedness. That is why God, your God has anointed you with the oil of exultation more than your partners( angels)
Hebrews 1:3-4--- He( Jesus) is the reflection of his( Jehovah) Glory and the exact representation( image) of his very being, and he sustains all things by the word of his( Jehovah) power and after he made a purification for our sins he sat down on the right hand of the majesty( Jehovah) in lofty places--4) So he has become better than the angels to the extent that he( Jesus) has inherited a name more excellent than theirs.


Clearly shows Jesus is equal to the angels without inheriting that name from his God and Father.

Dear Keithw,
Since this site and its Statement of Faith acknowledges the Trinity, it might be best to leave off such comments of yours that I have quoted above.
If you disagree that is fine, but if error you believe it to be, then it might be best that you seek another site that is more accommodating to your belief of the Godhead or cease/avoid the areas of discussion that will have you making such comments.
