Makes some sense, if Jesus speaks in real time of the ruler of this world is coming, and seeing Satan fall from heaven, then that would help explain the spiritual shift world wide that occured around that time.

Btw gnostics didn't go away, the fundamentals of that movement became known as Jainism then later into the Muslim religion. All of these things deny some critical component of Jesus arriving in the flesh and ressurection in the glorified body.

The God of the Sabbath is why Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath so believers can rest from keeping the Sabbath day for obtaining salvation by resting in Jesus Christ that we are saved.

This is why believers are guiltless for profaning the sabbath because Jesus Christ is in us and with us always. Matthew 12:1-8 KJV & 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV & 2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV & Matthew 28:20 KJV
