Forgiveness

This word forgiveness I have beaten up by so many for it especially over my sons Dad. People call me crazy for me not hating him, I just can't find the hate they want me to feel towards him in me. He is not a nice man at all and has done very horrible things things that have ruined womans lives for life he had caused much pain in my life also and for this People say very hateful words I wonder at times is it me that's the crazy one because I don't hate him I hate the actions he has done but I don't hate him I forgive all he has done towards me I just stay away from him I stopped all contact over 20 yrs ago he was another life time he was around while I was walking with me back turned against YH
But I find comfort in The Word
How can I expect to be forgiven if I do not forgive as the Father Says

• For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
  Matthew 6:14

Good message about forgiveness. We can't keep anger and hate in our heart. We have to have forgiving hearts. Though, forgiving someone doesn't mean you keep hanging around them.. Jesus is our example, he was beaten and abused and nailed to a cross, and he forgave them. Look at what happened to Stephen, he was stoned to death and still forgave them as he was dying. We have to repent of our sins and forgive others. Even those we have forgiven, they too must repent of their sins and forgive others. That is the Way.
