The Poor Are The Chosen And The Heirs Of The Kingdom Of God
[Jas 2:5
5 Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world [to be] rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?
[Mat 5:3
3 "Blessed [are] the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
[Luk 6:20
20 Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said: "Blessed [are you] poor, For yours is the kingdom of God.
[1Co 1:18-21, 23-28
18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
19 For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."
20 Where [is] the wise? Where [is] the scribe? Where [is] the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. ...
23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness,
24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called].
27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,
[Jas 2:1-9
1 My brethren, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, [the Lord] of glory, with partiality.
2 For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes,
3 and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, "You sit here in a good place," and say to the poor man, "You stand there," or, "Sit here at my footstool,"
4 have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
5 Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world [to be] rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?
6 But you have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts?
7 Do they not blaspheme that noble name by which you are called?
8 If you really fulfill [the] royal law according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you do well;
9 but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors.

xxx Some will not accept that God has already chosen the poor to be heirs of the kingdom of God. And being rich is a sin.

[2Th 2:10–12
[10] and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
[12] that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

1Jo 5:10
He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.
1Jo 5:11
And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
1Jo 5:12
He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
1Jo 5:13
These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may [continue to] believe in the name of the Son of God.

The Poor Are The Chosen And The Heirs Of The Kingdom Of God. God has already chosen the poor to inherit the kingdom of God.

The rich man (what do I still lack). Jesus go see all you have and giv e to the poor. After you have done that then you can come and follow Me.

[Mat 19:19–21
[19] 'Honor your father and [your] mother,' and, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' "
[20] The young man said to Him, "All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?"
[21] Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect,

go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."

More pure nonsense from sb...obviously you have no training in how to read and interpret Scripture, much less on how to get saved and remain abiding in Christ in order to have His Spirit dwelling within you...

That is an oxymoron. The Holy Spirit only quotes new testament verses. A born again Christian doesnt interpretate they quote what the Holy Spirit gives them.
HERMENEUTICS
2 Cor 11:3
3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
1 Cor 1:21
21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
1 Cor 1:20
20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
1 Cor 1:19
19 For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."
1 Cor 2:5
5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
Heb 4:2
2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.
2 Tim 2:24-26
24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient,
25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,
26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
2 Cor 11:14-15
14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
Rom 8:6-8
6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Col 2:8
8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
1 Cor 1:30-31
30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God-- and righteousness and sanctification and redemption--
31 that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the Lord."
1 Cor 1:26
26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.
1 Cor 2:9-10
9 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
1 Cor 2:13-15
13 These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.
John 5:44
44 "How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God?
Mark 8:15
15 Then He charged them, saying, "Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod."
Mark 8:18
18 "Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember?
1 Cor 5:7
7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
Rom 10:3
3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.
Rom 10:8-10
8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach):
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Hermeneutics is mans scientific study of Gods Word. It is a system of how to believe. The problem is it brings God down to our understanding. It doesnt bring us up to His understanding. It is a system without faith. There is a man made faith and there is a spiritual faith. Man made faith is a system to know what is coming up next according to the system man has laid down. Spiritual faith is to follow the verses not knowing what is coming next but just trusting God that you need it.

More nonsense that demonstrates the fact that you don't have a clue what you are talking about...

Over and over again, all you demonstrate is that you don't have a clue. Hermeneutics does not tell you how to believe, it is what we must do in order to understand what the Spirit is actually saying. Since you can't understand that, you choose to belittle it - just like Jude talks about you in those passages I gave. And, according to your own words, what you have is your own man made "faith," which is nothing. But I perceive that you are lost in darkness, as all of your comments ratify...so, good luck. you need it.

I do understand hermeneutics. It is the carnal interpretation in ones imagination.

LOL!!! No...what you think you understand is most likely some moron's take on Biblical hermeneutics that you read and didn't know any better, so you believed what the moron said. Anyone who understands what hermeneutics is about, and what it does and does not do, can run circles around you while you just stand there drooling down your chin.

But, again, nice try...

Well Jesus is the one who taught me. Your just full of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

[Mat 12:31-32
31 "Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy [against] the Spirit will not be forgiven men. 32 "Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the [age] to come.

Sorry again, deluded one...you can quote Scripture all you want to, but that in no way shows that you understand what the texts are saying. From what you have testified to against yourself, it is clear for anyone with a working brain to see that you speak and understand outside of Scripture, particularly when you claim that Jesus was not God in the flesh.

Vanity-- you are very vain if you think you can criticize one in the Spirit with no more than your own opinion.

MANS WISDOM?YOUR OWN OPINION OR SPIRIT WISDOM (VERSES)
Col 2:8-9
8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
Phil 4:7
7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Eph 3:19
19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Phil 1:9-10
9 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment,
10 that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ,
1 Cor 1:30
30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God-- and righteousness and sanctification and redemption--
1 Cor 1:21
21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
1 Cor 1:25-26
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.
Matt 11:25
25 At that time Jesus answered and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.
1 Cor 2:4-11
4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,
8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
John 3:34-36
34 "For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.
35 "The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.
36 "He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."
John 6:63
63 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
John 14:26
26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
Rom 8:27
27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
2 Cor 3:5-6
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
2 Cor 3:12-15
12 Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech--
13 unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away.
14 But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.
15 But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
Rom 11:25
25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
Rom 12:16
16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

xxThe problem with human wisdom and language, is that it is so easy to pervert it. What I mean is we know that our guardian angel uses human wisdom to guide us. And we also know that the devil uses human wisdom to guide us. That is why we need the Holy Spirit that only quotes verses, to reveal who is who.
Christianity is not about whether or not one has an opinion. It is about whether one should share that opinion. We know that our guardian angel gives us opinions, and we know that the devil always give us the oposite opinion from our guardian angel. And we know that we havent sinned until we give into the wrong opinion. Any time we say anything we are sharing the opinion that we have submitted to whether it be to our guardian angel or the devil. And anything spoken carnally has only a 50% chance of being right. That is why we need the Holy Spirit that only quotes verses. He is 100% right, He is our guarantee from God. The verse we get will tell us who is behind every thought in our minds.
On these boards it is obvious what spirit is behind alot of people. Alot of remarks on these boards are only there to cause confusion in the true believers. And true believers will respond accordingly. Their not allowed to cast their pearls before the swine. If you are a dog or a swine DONT expect the truth. What you must ask yourself is how important is your own opinion? How important is it that you get it out there for all to see?

Matt 7:6
6 "Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.
(NKJ)

Matt 12:34-37
34 "Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
35 "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.
36 "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.
37 "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."
(NKJ)

John 12:48-50
48 "He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him-- the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.
49 "For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.
50 "And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak."
(NKJ)

Vanity-- you are very vain if you think you can criticize one in the Spirit with no more than your own opinion.

Firstly, you demonstrate that you are not "in the Spirit."
Secondly, I did not give any opinion on any subject matter. I voiced clearly what you have done, nothing more.
Apparently, the vanity is coming from your side of the screen.

There are so many carnal reasonings in this statement alone, that I can only hit one or two of them (not that it will make any difference in your mind). So, you listen to an angel, eh? Which one? An angel of light, or one that is only masquerading as an angel of light? I can answer that for you too...because it is obvious from what you post that what you get is not from Scripture, but from elsewhere. The Holy Spirit does not just speak to people by quoting Scripture, that is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard said to date. I suppose the angel you are listening to is named Moroni...

Christianity is not about whether or not one has an opinion. It is about whether one should share that opinion.

Let me see...that is...what...strike 15? I lost count. Christianity has nothing to do with opinions, it has to do with facts - the facts of what God has done and why. You are not helping yourself. The more you talk, the more people see exactly what you are...

We know that our guardian angel gives us opinions, and we know that the devil always give us the oposite opinion from our guardian angel.

So...now you are a "we" and "our." Truly telling...exactly who and what do you think you are?

And we know that we havent sinned until we give into the wrong opinion.

Yah...that's enough nonsense false jibber-jabber for me for one day.

If you are trying to be a spin doctor your really not very good at it.

Is that your pride speaking.

LOL! Just like many in the calvinist circles, the first place you go to is the pride card.

No, I may have pride in some things, but none of those things have to do with myself...but nice try.

BTW, you might try slinging accusations that don't come back and slap you in the face, because we all have observed many a prideful statement in your posts...

[Luk 12:23
[23] "Life is more than food, and the body [is more] than clothing.
[Luk 12:15
[15] And He said to them, "Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses."

15 And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.
Matt 4:4
4 But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'"
Rev 22:18-19
18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;
19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Matt 12:37
37 "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."
I Jn 2:16
16 For all that is in the world-- the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-- is not of the Father but is of the world.
And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
Mark 7:6-7
6 He answered and said to them, "Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: 'This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.
7 And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'

9 And He said to them, "All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.
Mark 7:20-23
20 And He said, "What comes out of a man, that defiles a man.
21 "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22 "thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.

John 8:50
50 "And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges.
Phil 2:3
3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
Luke 18:9
9 Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
1 Cor 4:6
6 Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other.
1 Tim 6:3-4
3 If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness,
4 he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions,
Rom 14:22
22 Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves.

15 And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.
2 Cor 10:12
12 For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
2 Cor 10:17-18
17 But "he who glories, let him glory in the Lord."
18 For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.

Rom 9:8
8 That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.
James 3:14-17
14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.
15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.
16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
John 12:25
25 "He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
James 4:6
6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."
1 Pet 1:24-25
24 because "All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away,
25 But the word of the Lord endures forever." Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.
Luke 9:47-48
47 And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a little child and set him by Him,
48 and said to them, "Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great."
2 Cor 1:9

1 Cor 4:7

[Rom 3:23
[23] for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

xxx Pride is an emotion or passion. And no one can belong to Christ until they have crucified ALL their emotions and passions.

EXAMPLE

Luke 22:33-34

10 "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
11 "The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, 'God, I thank You that I am not like other men-- extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector.
12 'I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.'
13 "And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me a sinner!'
14 "I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."
Matt 6:24
24 "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

1 Tim 2:8-11
8 I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;
9 in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing,
10 but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.
11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submission.

xxx Pride is a strong emotion and self worth. The first sin on earth. People never question on whether or not pride is a sin because it feels so good. But think about it. When do people feel their best? When they have won against another person. Beat them up, cheated them on a deal, taken advantage of them. Men and women. Crooks feel real good when they got away with a caper.

[1Co 4:7
[7] For who makes you differ [from another]? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive [it], why do you boast as if you had not received [it]?

Rom 12:3
