I meant exactly what I said, the Church of the East. And no, they are not Eastern Orthodox, since the Church of the East was founded by St. Thomas long before Eastern Orthodoxy was even established. The Church of the East was (and is) a Christian church started in Persia, and never under the corrupting influence of Rome.

If a man or woman is at one time saved, then during thier lifetime lose that salvation by way of sin, anger, non forgiveness, pride. That person will be lost.
That was what happened to Judas.
Jesus stated, " rejoice that your names are written in heaven " . Then after Judas became proud and betreyed Jesus, Jesus says of him " it would have been better if he had never been born "

I often wonder if Judas was predestined to be the betrayer I know the scripture says “ then satan entered his heart” but Jesus already knew “ I say to you one of you will betray me”

I think god can set things in motion but leaves it up to man to finish what he starts ( or doesn’t finish )

Having faith would have no meaning
If everything was absolutely predestined. Then it wouldn't matter whether I accepted Jesus or not or if Jesus died on the cross or any of it none of it would matter.
However everything does matter
And it's because of this that there is no predestination.
So even though Judas I was told by Jesus that his name was written in heaven .
And even though Judas saw all the miracles of Jesus. Walking on the water the multiplication of bread and fish and all of the other crazy miracles
Judas still chose to do what he wanted to do. And that his way was more important then God's way.

If there is predestination , what was the point of Jesus going to all the trouble of dying on the cross and His resurrection?
So basically , you are saying . It is ok to get the mark of the beast, because you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior.
You deem yourself to be saved, no matter what.
