What is Predestined

I ment to say what is Predestined in Biblical terms.

The terms predestined and predestination do not exist in the Hebrew or Greek texts,,,the word for predestinate IS used but only by Paul...and God predestinates according to His foreknowing. He KNOWS who will and who will not ultimately faithe.

Oh finally!!! Somebody who is talking sense on this subject..Thank you Brother Paul! The 'theory that God choose who will be saved and who will go to hell is NOT biblical..not even remotely...We choose if we will follow and serve Him....and He has plans for those who choose Him...Good plans... For those who decide to follow Satan? He allows them to follow Satan, all the way. Their choice..... Just because somebody like Gregoryp saw no other choice, does not mean God saved him against his will...It simply means that Gregoryp saw the choice and knew there was no other viable choice, and took that route.

I do believe I am my brothers keeper in that I have a responsibility to pray for others.....What does this have to do with predestination?

Umm, not quite. Some he has chosen, the rest have every opportunity to repent and follow Jesus Christ and be reborn. No one will be turned away who ask for the gift of repentance.

Some He has chosen is not in the Bible...You chose. But that is not really important...What's important sir, is that you are saved.

I am living proof that is not so. As a child in primary school the teacher asked what career we were going to choose when we grow up. I had no idea and did not answer. On the walk home I was pondering that question, and the first word that entered my mind, which If I recall correctly i said out loud, was Priest. Then an energy like electricity went down from my head to my toes. After that life was never the same. This is when I was around ten years old BTW. So yes, he does choose certain people.
