The men who knew too much
Deuteronomy 29:19-20 (ASV) and it comes to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart, to destroy the moist with the dry.

Jeremiah 13:13 (NKJV) Then you shall say to them, 'Thus says the LORD: "Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land--even the kings who sit on David's throne, the priests, the prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem--with drunkenness!

Deuteronomy 29: 20 (NKJV) Jehovah will not pardon him, but then the anger of Jehovah and his jealousy will smoke against that man, and all the curse that is written in this book shall lie upon him, and Jehovah will blot out his name from under heaven.

Ezekiel 23:33 (NKJV) You will be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, The cup of horror and desolation, The cup of your sister Samaria.

Luke 21:34 (NKJV) "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.

Proverbs 23:21 (KJV) For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.

Proverbs 26:9 (KJV) As a thorn goeth up into the hand of a drunkard, so is a parable in the mouth of fools.

Jesus foretold the future

Luke 7:33-35 (NKJV) For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, 'He has a demon.'
The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, 'Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!'
Luke 15:1-2 (NKJV) Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him.
And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, "This Man receives sinners and eats with them." But wisdom is justified by all her children."

Matthew 9:9-13 (NKJV) As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, "Follow Me." So he arose and followed Him.
Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house that beholds, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples.
And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, "Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"
When Jesus heard that, He said to them, "Those who well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.
But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice.' For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."

Matthew 24:2 (NKJV) And Jesus said to them, "Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down."

I dunno there... I think that's an over excessive interpretation. It would seem that Jesus was witnessing to actual drunks and alcoholics.

This is what I mean
In James 3:1-6 (ASV) Be not many of you teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall receive heavier judgment.
For in many things we all stumble. If any stumbleth not in word, the same is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.
Now if we put the horses' bridles into their mouths that they may obey us, we turn about their whole body also.
Behold, the ships also, though they are so great and are driven by rough winds, are yet turned about by a very small rudder, whither the impulse of the steersman willeth.
So the tongue also is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how much wood is kindled by how small a fire!
And the tongue is a fire: the world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the wheel of nature, and is set on fire by hell.

Also, do you know Joel Osteen and many like him, these men intoxicated themselves with spiritual wine, what I mean is this individual is spiritually drunk over excessive in the word of God?

The wine that prefers is a cup of

Revelation 14:10 (ASV)
he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of His anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

Jeremiah 25:15-17 (NKJV) For thus says the LORD God of Israel to me:
"Take this wine cup of fury from My hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send you, to drink it.
And
they will drink and stagger and go mad because of the sword that I will send among them."
Then I took the cup from the LORD'S hand,
and made all the nations drink, to whom the LORD had sent me:

this is why I said this is a sin of knowledge, men who knew too much is going into the deep things of God, thinking without consequences

You seem to be saying that it's a sin to go "too much" into the deep things of God.

As to Joel Osteen, I am not a disciple of him (nor am I his master). As to "many others" whom might they be?

Knowledge is never a sin....ignorance is not a sin either...though ignorance may be shameful

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (ASV) For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, fashioning themselves into apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for even
Satan fashioneth himself into an angel of light.
It is no great thing therefore if
his ministers also fashion themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works.

you just demonstrated both
Genesis 2:17 (NKJV) but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."

Psalm 53:2-3 (NKJV)
God looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God.
Every one of them has turned aside; They have together become corrupt; There is none who does good, No, not one.

Genesis 3:22 (KJV) And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is
become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree
Knowledge is a sin because it is evil, ignorance is a type of lack of edcation that becomes a sin

You're spouting complete nonsense.. If you knew Jesus you would knoe that He constantly shaes knowledge with us...Does Jesus sin? Is Jesus sin?

2 Timothy 4:3-4 (NKJV) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

Hebrews 5:11-14 (NKJV) of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.
For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.
For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.
But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

So Joel Osteen is "over excessive in the word of God"?

Would you have people "under excessive" in the word of God?

What's your point? That they read their Bible too much?

... these men intoxicated themselves with spiritual wine, ...
One would think we have been instructed to be "intoxicated with spiritual wine"

And be not drunk with (regular) wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit (spiritual wine);
(Ephesians 5:18 KJV)

In other words, stay away from organised religion and politics. Again, remove yourselves totally from worldly thinking and desires. It will amount to nothing. A real christian is totally seperated from the world, not a part of it. Your either a follower of Jesus, or your not, there is no in between.

My dear friend
It not easy what to say, for there is so much in my heart, but the Lord looks at all our hearts, so I give him my heart

A Contrite Heart

Psalm 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart-- These, O God, You will not despise.

Psalm 34:18 The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

The Publican tax collector

Luke 18:11-14 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, 'God, I thank You that I am not like other men--extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector.
I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.'
And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me a sinner!'
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."

The Centurion

Matthew 8:5-11 Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him,
saying, "Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented." And Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."
The centurion answered and said, "Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me, And I say to this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, "Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!
And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

What words can I give?

Romans 10:10-11 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame."

1 Corinthians 13:11-When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
For now, we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Jeremiah 10:23-24 O LORD, I know the way of man is not in himself; It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps.
O LORD, correct me, but with justice; Not in Your anger, lest You bring me to nothing.

Can you forgive me, Lord?

Psalm 55:20-23 He has put forth his hands against those who were at peace with him; He has broken his covenant.
The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, But the war was in his heart; His words were softer than oil, Yet they were drawn swords.
Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.
But You, O God, shall bring them down to the pit of destruction; Bloodthirsty and deceitful men shall not live out half their days, But I will trust in You.

Psalm 91:14-16 "Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high because he has known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life, I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation."

Can you forgive Lord?

Isaiah 55:1-3 Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.
Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.
Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you-- The sure mercies of David.

Isaiah 55:6-7 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Thank you, Lord

Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

Romans 8:27-28 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Romans 8:1-2 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Psalm 103:11-12 For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.

I am trying to follow , you are saying Ministers should not go overboard with thier zeal for scripture . Is that it ?

If so , then i would say the opposite , that Ministers need to go for it , and not put a cork on thier own minds . If the Spirit of God is leading , ' Let the fire flow '
