Can I mention my favorite movie more than Jesus Christ and still be a true christian?

I know of no verse that says we can say a word or even a name more than we say Jesus's name.

There are verses that say we have to Love God more than anything else.

There are people who talk about their favorite band, car, sports team, athlete, and I don't think that in itself is a sin.
But we can become obsessed with things. We can idolize and worship other things besides God. This is dangerous.

This is an unusual question, I don't think I've ever heard anyone ask in the nearly 50 years I have been saved.
Not that there is anything wrong with asking. But the fact that you are asking makes me wonder if the Holy Spirit is nudging you and convicting you about it.

If the Holy Spirit is trying to tell you something about this, then by all means do as He says.

I think you are correct, yea I would say overall it has to do with the heart.

On the surface yes, you are correct. For example I don't care much for football much anymore. I use to, but lost interest when
my team started losing years ago.

I was not going to watch the Superbowl but I did because my father wanted to. While watching the game, I talked and talked
about football. Not because I love football, but because my father enjoys it and it was an opportunity to bond with him.

When I was at my old job, I wanted to minister to the guys about Jesus, but they didn't really talk about Jesus. So I would often
ask them about the sports games and the big scores. If you didn't know me you would think this guy (me) really likes sports
and is always talking about football. But my motive was to talk about something that they were interested in to build a relationship
so I could introduce them to Jesus. We are call to be fishers of men, when you are fishing you use the bait that the fish likes, not what
you like.

So generally speaking you are correct, one should not be talking about sports more than Jesus, however ultimately it is about the heart .
For some, like myself in the past, when I talked about sports with other guys it is hardly ever because I care about the sport, but because
I want to connect with them on something they like. And build a relationship and enter their world, so that I can introduce them to my world
of Jesus.

I dont know about much about peoples interests i have autism but I know that obsession is a bad thing no matter what its about.. Obsession is something anyone can deal with by asking God to remove their obsession. But I dont think its a salvation issue liking or talking about one subject allot.. I just think when people bring the attitude and stuff that's where it goes downhill...no need for attitude if your enjoying something for right reasons.

There is always a danger in placing the things of this world above that which is written. The wine of dispation of Spirit . Like that of the foolish Galatian in who God tured so they could repent and do the first works believe God as he worked in them .

We should live at peace with God not seen as mucuh as as is postible depending on the peace of God working in a individual .The requirement is two walking together in a gree ment to the Lord. . In that way anything that i s not of faith (Christ's in us) God working with man making his burden lighter is sin.

Romans 14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
