This is of course about the 2nd coming of Jesus and our gathering together with Him.
Let no one deceive you... Obviously many are trying to deceive us. It won't come unless the apostasy happens first. Obviously the Apostasy didn't happen in the first century.
But it sure looks like it's happening now. Not just in the US, but all over the world.

... "the man of lawlessness is revealed". There is a well known man in the world right now. He is breaking election laws, trade laws, gerrymandering laws, not to mention God's laws.
He is part of a movement that wants to do away with many laws all together, release many people who have broken the law, and do away with God's laws as much as they can.

Has the man of lawlessness finally been revealed? Time will tell.

A simple reading of II Thess 2:4 states the man of lawlessness SITTETH in the temple, not 'will sit' -
You might ask, what is the temple of God, Paul already told us:
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The man of lawlessness or man of sin Satan is the spirit according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience or god of this world working in the affairs of men .

He began his work of lawlessness (you shall surely not die) in the garden as the antichrist singular “another teacher” He made the law of God . . . Thou shalt not eat to no effect, therefore destroying the letter of the law.

1 John 2 speaks of him directly informing us many antichrists plural were there already under the influence of one spirit the antichrist singular . Many ignore the division between the singular antichrist and the plural antichrists. In a false hope he has not been revealed

We are not left without an example of Satan with all power to deceive through lying wonders . Remember no sign was given we walk by faith, God’s understanding found the book of the law as it is written

In the parable in Mathew 16 the Holy Spirit is teaching us how to rightly divide between the temporal things of men and the spirit that works in them. (1) Things of God not seen and (2) things of men the temporal, as that seen.

Satan the god of this world giving Peter over to false pride as if Peter was the key that the gates of hell could never prevail against and not the gospel the word of God . Satan having given Peter lying words they coming from the spirit of lies rebuked the Son of man, Jesus.

Peter was forgiven of his blasphemy against the Son of Man Jesus the temporal . Who came to do the will of the father? That window of opportunity of forgiveness against the things seen ended when Jesus the Son of man left . We know him that way no more forever more. The one promised demonstration ended. Because the Son of man who was led by the Holy Spirit that dwelt in him .We can see that Jesus had the treasure of the authority to know God working in him But he had no power of his own but as a prophet sent by God the father gave Jesus words to rebuke the spirit of lies . It would seem in effect saying “the Lord rebukes you” get behind me as the unseen glory and do not glory in the flesh of Peter or any man as a potential antichrist . Refuse the idea that we do need a man seen to teach us. In that way no man could severe two teaching masters , as christs (plural) anointed teachers .The things of God and those of mankind.

Two represent the one witnes of God throughout the bible .A representation of the Father and Son working as one God or man and wife toghrther as one minsitry. There using the witnes of man the temporal mxing it with the unseen faith as God's labor of love the eternal not sen .

The law and the prophets or Moses and Elijah the teaching master used to represent the law and the prophets .Moses representing the letter that kills and Eljah the power to heal and bring new born again life. Sola scriptura. The perfect law made of two . . apart from each other . . .death

God will send a famine for hearing the gospel . . killing the prophecy for a temporal time period .

Based on Rev 1:3 and 22:10 which state, "These things ARE AT HAND", the Two Witnesses, if you really knew what and who they are, you'd retract the last part of your assertion.
