All i know from experience is my hubby watched conspiracy theory upon theory and it consumed his mind and will take your mind off God and put you in fear
it is interesting at first to watch some of these videos to be aware of the times were in
but i think were not to be overly curious into these theorys
we know and believe and trust in God
no matter how evil the days become
just my bit
God bless x

I wish the Lord would give every christian the spiritual gift of increased discernment, its certainly greatly in need these days.

I prayed for wisdom, instead He gave me greater faith, so I figure I got what I prayed for. LOL But yeah, I got really good discernment, I sort of need it for what God wants me to do, to be a spiritual warrior, you dont want to end up like Baalam, he started out wanting to be a spiritual warrior, and started doing it for money, really lacking in both wisdom and discernment. His donkey ended up having to save the sorry guy's skin.

God's wisdom is greatly needed. That's possibly the same thing as discernment.
Although related, not the same. We are all given the option of wisdom, it says right in proverbs how to get it. Spiritual discernment is a spiritual gift spoken of in the NT as a gift of the Holy Spirit.

I saw the first post/link and ignored it, as I do mostly with these things. I come back today to just skim over the posts, glad that is all I did.

But what do I see? Christians wasting their God given time, on 'conspiracy theories!' Does that make sense? Not to me it doesn't.

Whilst people are sharing these things, and watching and commenting, their eyes are off Jesus, they are not looking to the Kingdom of God, they are not looking to Jesus, they are not looking at the harvest, they are not encouraging others in Christ, they are looking at sin, the world and the devil. The devil is winning!

Sorry guys, that is what I see, you may see things differently.

Shalom

Paranoia can certainly be a debilitating thing to have to deal with. Yet the same ppl who call every dark thing they want to stay hidden from view, a conspiracy theory, are the ones who think christianity is a crutch for the weak. Remember that our faith is belief in things unseen, a child like faith is what Christ loved. Just because you dont see something, doesnt mean it doesnt exist. We should not overthink that evil that surrounds us, but if you see something that "was" just a conspiracy theory to be true, then you will know that just because some ppl like you call them that, doesnt make them untrue. Just so you know, I didnt watch the video, and the odds are good that some parts of it are created out of paranoia, that doesnt mean its all a lie, and as you know, calling good evil and evil good, is not a good thing.

Hi Brad,

I have stopped watching most of this type of thing, I just popped back to read the comments after s while. I am selective if I watch tv evangelists, there was a link recently that was saying on the lines of must watch, must listen to this message by....... You know brother, I watched a little, what the guy was saying is what has been said on TJ many times. I was glad at last he too had realised and caught up. ;o)

They seem to pick up on something and put their spin on it. People swallow it because they are a tv evangelist's.

And you put your spin on it without even watching it, is that better?

No spin.

Stick to The Word

I watch very little TV now a days. News and nature type programs that's it for me.

The wife is watching Mama Mia whilst I sir in sun lounge, its not for me. A slipper has sex with numerous men, has a child, mother doesn't know who the father is, and they make a musical of it to make it more acceptable. Not for me.

Never seen it myself, and it doesnt sound good. If you wish to live the life of a monk with a wife, thats up to you, its certainly not dishonorable. But I am a spiritual warrior, called by God to be so, and I cant fight the evil by the light of truth when I hide my head in the sand.

I certainly don't see the devil winning Paul, Jesus is building his church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

I totally agree Trevor.

The point was when we are looking at negatives, our time is not on the positive, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Bless you

I guess we can get side tracked, with so much Tom Foolery and dishonesty about, but we are in the army of the Lord and that means we're on the winning side.

What is intersting is that God did give us his wisdom!( 1 Cor 1:30-31) what is sad, is many do not wish to stay or to be in his instruction.( Rom 8:14-15) He also gave all people a measure of faith.( Rom 12:3) So now that it is ours what we do with what he gave us means much!( 2 Peter 1:3-12) Please look close at verse 5 who's faith?? OUR FAITH!!!! verse 6 and in who's knowledge??

I wish that those who claim to be believers use his word as believers!! To make a point use HIS wisdom, hence why he gave us his Word in the first place. Not angry, just sad, that we do not always look at his truth, not only to become set free through him,but stay that way!( John 8:32-36)

Hi Brighthouse, is that post lamenting any one on Talk Jesus? because leaving it in the air, unattached to anybodies post, could cause readers to wonder if you found anything in their posts, that would cause you to think that they are claiming to be believers when in fact you don't think they are. Maybe you should expand on your statement and let us know what you are getting at? Bless you.

I never judge,I only say if the shoe fits another they may wish to consider is all bro. ( Rom 8:1) And to be more direct Trevor this has to do with a number of people,if I expand on this directly you understand what would happen.LOL I remind myself of this as well.( 2 Cor 13:5-8)

Whatever you think best brighthouse, but innuendo can cause uncertainty and doubt. It would be better to name and shame and face the consequences.
