The Lord's Table:

Whatever comes to mind for you, what appears to you?

For me it is the account in 1 Corinthians 11....the one who eats or drinks in an UNWORTHY fashion is the one who fails to recognize (discern) the body in the breaking of the bread...

For me this says the Apostle's (who were taught by Christ) understood Christ to really be present in the Communion service, not just symbolically

What are your thoughts on that aspect....

Anyone who sits at the Table of The Lord will be convicted by the Eucharist,

they will receive the Law of God,
they will receive the Truth which is in Christ Jesus our Lord,
if they accept conviction, and turn not away from His face, the same will receive of His Spirit;

The Spirit of The Lord,
The Spirit of Understanding,
The Spirit of Wisdom,
The Spirit of Knowledge,
The Spirit of Council,
The Spirit of Might,
and, The Spirit of Fear of The Lord

for without conviction would they have not Fear of The Lord;
of this cometh Understanding, leading unto the other Spirits of God

for a man without fear hath not wisdom; but in his ways are inequity, and thus is he in the company of evil beside himself.

Something like that.
