The argument that I am presenting is why don't "Christian" promote the chronological reading of the Bible. Most Christians only promote themselves and the church they attend. And hardly never emphasize people to read their bibles. And if you ask a Christian how many times, through out the years have they read their bibles from front to back they grow "fangs and horns". In their respond, as if you ask them to commit a great unpardonable sin.
I have to agree brother,
The Word is Truth, Truth is in the Word.
Many Christians are influenced by the group they are part of, the denomination they are part of. There are no denominations in the Bible, I appreciate however why there are so many, which as we know was and still is down to wrong teaching by the RCC. But it seems each have gone their own way, each picking up on their specific beliefs from The Word, as if to promote we are different, we are 'this denomination' without using the denomination word. There are no denominations in the Bible, their will be no denominations in heaven.
Sadly by promoting a different type of worship it drives the ekklesia apart rather than together.
Years ago I attended a series of services, Churches together. It included CofE, Methodist, Baptist and RC. The following was very noticable
Only a small number from each denomination attended, the rest stayed away!
The smallest numbers were from the RCC, they didn't want to mix with other denominations. Could it be that they are taught only Catholics go to heaven? I am sure there are many reasons but, denominations have split the ekklesia, I am a catholic, I am a protestant, I am a baptist they say. But if each has saved souls we are all part of the one true church, the ekklesia, the Bride of Christ, the spiritual stones, our Lord must weep at times.
I personally do not belong to a denominations, though I am happy to go to services in many, not all, I will not be yoked to them. I belong to Christ, He purchased me by His Blood, He is the head of the church, the ekklesia not the kuriakon, I accept all who are born again, regardless of age, sex, country, tongue, ability or disability, regardless of skin colour are my brothers and sisters 'in Christ Jesus'
The Bible is God's Word to all mankind, it is Truth, the Truth is in The Word, we should all read and study what God has prepared in advance for us.
Bless you my friend
