Did the Eternal Word (second person of the Trinity) merge with a newly created human mind, will, and emotions that did not exist before?

That makes him more than just a Man.
"By MAN came death, BY MAN also came the resurrection of the dead." He cannot be God and be just a man at the same time. You fool yourself, or have been duped.
Lol..."duped" by Scripture.

So where do you and JustAskin get your info?

The JW's? The Mormons?

John was very clear in his verse on the antichrist spirit. Jesus was a flesh and blood Man until after death. And to say otherwise would DIMINISH his accomplishment, thus
ANTICHRIST.

The part you cannot seem to grasp is that ALL OF US were a group before the world was made with a head spirit that became known as Jesus while on earth as a MAN.
Your spirit is known as David, same difference, but still just a Man while here.

When God spoke, the group (creative aspect/word) made it come into existence. You suppose Jesus calls us brothers and friends for no reason?
The Bible says he came amongst his own and they received him not. His own what? Brothers and friends? But tells us all that we have the same Father as he himself.

We all individually have been put in earthen vessels to make the journey on the earth through time and suffer death and gain the knowledge of good and evil, as purposed by our Father God. As ALL spirits known as man came from God. Each individual becomes dead in sin and trespass as they were ordained to be that way by the Father. The one exception was Jesus, who being begat of the Father (his human body male side genetics) was implanted with that one spirit that was preferred above all other spirits that eventually became man.

He (Jesus) was foreordained to be crucified as a MAN before those foundations of the earth were laid and we were there too.
Ephesians 1:3 " Blessed be the GOD AND FATHER of our Lord JESUS CHRIST, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Ephesians 1:4 According as he(GOD) hath CHOSEN US (including Jesus) FROM WITHIN HIMSELF BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love."

As men we failed miserably every single one. So God sends the Captain of the group to be a MAN just as you or I or Paul to be the one human that fulfills the Law and becomes the first ever LIFE GIVING SPIRIT other than OUR FATHER.

1 Co 15:45 "And so it is written the first Adam became a living soul, the last Adam(Jesus) BECAME A LIFE GIVING SPIRIT." You cannot become what you already are.
And if he was NOT a LIFE GIVING SPIRIT BEFORE, but BECAME ONE, then YOU also have a shot at becoming one as well.

Ever wonder why these two (Adams) are the ones compared? It's simply because they were both made PERFECT MEN to begin with, without the curses of Eden. One failed,
the other grabbed hold of eternal life for all of us by his obedience and sacrifice.

We are the seed of Jesus Christ and the Bible tells us that his seed will also have seed. Go figure. What God has for us is far beyond our capacity to even fathom.

Imagine if you can that when God decided to have children he looked at everything he had ever done and found nothing in all of his creation that was worthy to be his sons.
So where do you suppose he got the raw material to begin the process? From WITHIN HIMSELF. Just as Eve from Adams rib!

As Paul puts it: Romans 8:18 " For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed in us."
I for one greatly anticipate the day!

It would be greatly appreciated if any that respond do so with verses and expound on them rather than half a sentence that edifies no one, as many read and do not respond, all things should edify the readers.

Obviously, the Lord is not "just a man." Just a man does not create the universe.

Ephesians 1:4 does not say or mean that we were waiting in a closet somewhere until we were born.
And I never said such but,
Thats exactly my point. Who were you before you were the man David? Do you know? Where were you? Where did anything come from except from within God Himself?

You were born as a human being, but that meant that a spirit had to be placed in your earthen vessel (body). Where did your spirit come from?

At the moment of conception - God makes conception possible. A person becomes a living soul at that moment Of conception.

I'll agree with you there but there has to be a spirit there or the body is dead. The discussion is where did the spirit that is YOU come from?

A person's spirit comes into existence 9 months before they are born.
You got any scripture to back that up?

I got one to refute it.
Ephesians 1:4 "According as he hath CHOSEN US IN HIM before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love."

Meaning that He knew before we were born -- that does Not mean we were existing then.

Psalms 82:6 "I have said, ye are gods; and ALL OF YOU ARE CHILDREN OF THE MOST HIGH." But ye shall die like men.......

Meaning that He knew before we were born -- that does Not mean we were existing then.

How can you prove it?

Remember what he said to Job. "Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the Earth? Declare if thou hast understanding." You don't suppose God put that question in his
mind for no reason do you? Or was it revelation for Job of who he was and where he came from before becoming Job?

Hebrews 11:15 " For truly, if they had been mindful (aware) of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned." This verse is not speaking of a physical country.

Maybe John says it best in John 1:15 "John bare witness of him(Jesus), and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, he that cometh AFTER me is PREFERRED BEFORE ME:
for he was before me." "It pleased the Father that in HIM(Jesus) should all fulness dwell" PREFERRED.

Jesus came after John, but was preferred over John, as he was always preferred OVER ALL OF US. However; if John had not existed until he was conceived how could Jesus be preferred before John or us as some were only conceived today?

It behooved Jesus to be made like unto his brethren in all things right? You believe that Jesus always existed with the Father, then why does he call us his brethren if we were not
there with him?

There's a big difference between us being mankind and Jesus being Christ and deity.

You're picking a situation with John the Baptist being the forerunner of Jesus Christ -- which he was -- and applying That to everyone?! Your theology is rather questionable.

There is no purpose in talking to you. Except I am curious to know the source of your opinions.
It’s understandable that you cannot answer. It’s almost predictable that you cannot answer with a credible reason...

And what opinion are you asking me to explain?
