Keeping Gods word

I think we all agree we should want to keep Gods word and be obedient. So we have the 10 commandments and I think we all agree we should not murder, lie, covet etc....

However there is one part of the 10 commandments I have never herd anyone discuss and that is the first part of "“Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest. In plowing time and in harvest you shall rest".

I think most will agree we should all worship the Lord al mighty and going to church is a good thing to do, now I realize we are not under the law, but grace, but I am still trying to get my head around this. I want to please my heavenly father as much as I can, yet I only work 5 days a week most of the year.

Anyone care to share there thoughts on working 6 days a week as stated in the 10 commandments?

Maybe this is rationalizing... but I tend to think of this way.
I still have a day job. Mostly Monday-Friday (some weekends, not very often).
So on Saturday, (which is technically the 7th day) I mow the grass, go buy groceries, work on the car, my wife usually does laundry.
I guess you could say it's "chore day". I do the things I can't do during the week.
But on Sunday (which is really the first day of the week), I go to church and do very little else. Sometimes I watch sports of television.
Sometimes we go for a drive. Sometimes we go visit family. But we try to avoid work.
So my question is... do household chores count as work?

John 6:67; So Jesus said to the twelve, "You do not want to go away also, do you?"
John 6:68; Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life.

Indeed... where else can we go? Only Jesus has the "words of eternal life".

Heb 4:4 For he has somewhere spoken of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all his works.”
Heb 4:5 And again in this passage he said, “They shall not enter my rest.”
Heb 4:6 Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news failed to enter because of disobedience,
Heb 4:7 again he appoints a certain day, “Today,” saying through David so long afterward, in the words already quoted, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”
Heb 4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on.
Heb 4:9 So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God,
Heb 4:10 for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
Heb 4:11 Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.

The sabbath rest was something that was done once a week under the Old Testament. The New Testament rest is something we do every day!

Basically entering into God's rest is letting Jesus Christ himself who living on the inside of us to do his works, in the same way, Jesus said, "it is my father who lives in me who is doing the works!
