Worship the Holy Spirit??

(The Son is NOT the Father, but the Father is IN the Son, So when we see the Son we see the unvisible Father.
You are forgetting something, and that is not only is the father in the Son, but the Son is also in the father.

Joh 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves.

When you see God the father you see Jesus. when you see Jesus we see God the Father. They are not the same person individually, but they are "one" God along with the Holy Spirit who are the thoughts of God.
We know God dwells inside a believer because of his Spirit that he has given us.(1 John 4:13) If you have the Son, you also have the father because they live in each other. There is no way to have Jesus live inside a person without having all three persons of the Godhead, because all the fulness of the Godhead lives in Jesus! (Col 2:9)

2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!

Son= Human, got born, died, was visible ,had flesh, prayed, obeyed, got hungry , and most important has blood!!!! that was why God made that body of flesh and walked within us! For our redemption.
Nowthose two natures together make "God in Christ)
What you are not seeing is that Jesus Christ was never born as he has always existed with the father. God the father provided a body for his Son to come into this world.

This is what Jesus Christ said before his incarnation.

Heb 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
Heb 10:6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
Heb 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:.........

The child "born" was only the means by which the Son was given.

Jesus's body was not Christ, his body was the way in which he could dwell among men which veiled his true Glory as the Son of God! Jesus's flesh is symbolic of the veil that separated the Holy of Holy's from man in the Old Testament tabernacle.

@pet -- the trinity is very unique. We have salvation Only because Of the working together Of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Godhead -- that word is only used once in Scripture. But it's inner-working is observed throughout Scripture.

A title and a characteristic are two different things. The title is a 'noun' and the characteristics are 'adjectives'.

God -- His title/ role is that of Father.

Jesus Christ = 2nd person of the trinity -- God's Son -- Savior -- Redeemer -- Lamb of God. The song "What a Friend we have in Jesus".

Holy Spirit = Comforter, Convictor of sins, teacher, guider, sealer of our soul until we are with Jesus Christ. , 3rd person of the Godhead , comes to indwell our soul at the moment of our salvation.

@Curtis -- the father of Jesus Christ -- the biological father of Jesus Christ was actually the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit 'came upon' Mary and thus she conceived. The legal earthly father of Jesus Christ was Joseph. Mary and Joseph were considered his Legal parents.

In the Godhead -- Jesus Christ did Not have a Father in the sense that human beings have a Father. The Father-figure in a household is generally the head Of -- leader of the pack.

There Are some belief systems that see God and another entity to have given birth To Jesus Christ. Just like human parents -- it takes male and female to create a child. Well -- in the spiritual world -- God is The Father and Jesus Christ is in position of Son-hood but not in the sense of being a son as We think of being a boy.

In Scripture , Jesus Christ IS putting himself in submission To God the Father. Just as We are to be in submission to God Our Father and to each other.
God -- His title/ role is that of Father.
Εx 3:5 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this [is] my name for ever, and this [is] my memorial unto all generations.
LORD (Some say Jehovah is the name of the Father, Jesus means "Jehovah saviour) (the name literaly means "i am who i am (and was or will be)
Is.42: 8 I [am] the LORD: that [is] my name: and my glory will I not give to another God gives too much emphasis to know His name (every communication starts by knowing atlist the other`s person name)
Notice also He said "i will not give/share my glory to an other!) But we know He gave His glory and name to His Son, why?
Ιs 43: 10 Ye [are] my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I [am] he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.11 I, [even] I, [am] the LORD; and beside me [there is] no saviour
The servant is the promise of His Son, and there is not other saviour except God (Jesus too called the only saviour)

Jesus Christ = 2nd person of the trinity -- God's Son -- Savior -- Redeemer -- Lamb of God. The song "What a Friend we have in Jesus".
Well like flesh was all that and much more! Actually weas the second Adam and the perfect sacrifice , amen.
But hey ,He has 2 natures, and Scripture never teaches other god, or "god the son'! No! But teaches the Son of God.Is called Son:
Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
That is why called the Son of God :) God not get born neiother have mother or father.
Now look one more of His titles :
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. :)

Holy Spirit = Comforter, Convictor of sins, teacher, guider, sealer of our soul until we are with Jesus Christ. , 3rd person of the Godhead , comes to indwell our soul at the moment of our salvation.
Well Jesus said "God is Spirit" what kind of spirit is He? ..hmhmh i think Holy!
Now look ,Scripture says emphaticaly that thre is only one Lord and this Lord is our Lord Jesus Christ. But here we see:
2 Cor.3 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord [is], there [is] liberty.
John 4:24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth
Lovely sister out of those crystal clear verses we have many scriptures that theaches us who God is.
Jesus said :
John 14-21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him
Why to manifest himself and not the other? in Other places He said that "who ever sees me ,he sees the Father" and "i came in my Father`s name" and "He who believes in me he dont believe in me but in Him who had send me"

WHO IS THE LORD OR THE SPIRIT WITHIN US? JESUS IS IN HEAVEN AND WE WAIT FOR HIM TO COME AGAIN ,BUT ALSO PROMISED I WILL BE WITH YOU TILL THE END. "NOW THE LORD IS THAT SPIRIT"
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

1) An other Comforter (Paraklitos) we only have one Paraklitos and this one is Jesus, but here means that we will not have anymore the Comforter in flesh, but in Spirit
2) the spirit of truth Jesus is the Truth and the way. So like we have "spirit of God" ,"spirit of Christ" , spirit of the Father" etc. we have the title Spirit of Truth. is just His won Spirit.
3)
but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you : He was already with them! Jesus was woth them and the Spirit of God in him.
but now He is inside us!!!

4)I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. i will not leave you orphans! Orphan means a child without father.
and then said "i will come to you" :)
when? the 2nd coming? No1 He means after resturection He will come and stey within us forever!

Yes they are both one in which the other,
Just like your spirit soul body is one .
anything more than that we have two or three gods.
thank you for the conversation.
May my God and Lord Jesus be with your spirit. (and i mean the One Spirit we have in us. "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord [is], there [is] liberty. " and we know there is One Lord! The Spirit of Jesus is that Spirit. (God is Spirit), no 3 spirits!

Just like your spirit soul body is one .

OK, I do not why you have no problem seeing man as spirit, soul, and body, made in the image and likeness of God, but how you can miss God being Father , son, and Holy Spirit. each being spirit, and being "one" God!..

1Jn 5:7 So there are three witnesses in heaven: the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and these three are One;

:) trinity says "2 persosns of the same substance" "co-equal etc.
and i ask is your soul an other independent and distinct person of your spirit ? Or
is you Soul of the same substance with your body? :) NO!
Does Adam were 3 persons or one?
Did Adam had one name or he had an other name for his soul and another for his body etc?
I ask this beacuse when trinitarians see "in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy SPirit" can not see why then Peter just baptise "in the name of Jesus Christ" :) is it so hard to see that there is only One name? "in the name" singular not "in the names"
Anyway i am sure you got the point now :) (Ana ofcourse there is One only Spirit in Bible, if you have Jesus in you then you have the HolySpirit too.
You can not "recive Jesus" and dont have the Holy Spirit.
.Rom.8: 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ [be] in you, the body [is] dead because of sin; but the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Thats why i am comfortamble and resting in the name above all names ,bevause in Christ dwells ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHESD BODILY! :) (not ine third ,not just the second person..ALL WHAT GOD IS!
|God bless you brother.

is you Soul of the same substance with your body? NO!
Not yet but it will be when Jesus returns, my body will become a spiritual body just like my spirit, and soul all made out of the same substance.

1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

I ask this beacuse when trinitarians see "in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy SPirit" can not see why then Peter just baptise "in the name of Jesus
Peter was preaching to Jews who had already believed in the God the Father, and the Holy Spirit, but they did not believe that Jesus was the Son of God. When they were baptized they now knew the Godhead as being God the Father, his Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit which completed their faith.

Adam was a triune being spirit, soul, and body being "one" man
Was Adam soul a diferent person of his body?
He had One or 3 names?
If he has One name then why not accepting the name of Jesus Christ as God`s name? "all the fulness of the Godhead dwells in him bodily"

"Trinity" means 3 not 2
Please write me all in one post, i can not read and answer 500 posts.
Yes Trinity teaches 3 co-equal persons of the same substance . i ask you, Is your soul of the same substance with your body?

Not yet but it will be when Jesus returns, my body will become a spiritual body just like my spirit, and soul all made out of the same substance.

1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
AMEN! So is Jesus now! He has a spiritual body , and inhered all the functions of the Spirit "I AND THE FATHER ARE ONE".
ALL the fullness ,all the substance all what God is dwells in Christ glorified body!@ He is One with the Spirit.
( The Spirit manifest IN flesh, then took that flesh and made it a spiritual eternal body :)When on earth, the invisible God manifest himself ,name and character perfectly in the person of the man Juesus Christ. ,even the name is inhered from the Father. "i do nothing of my self! but the Father who dwells in me, He does the works")
Sorry, i dont know who told you this, but it is a lie from hell.
1)no jew till today even believed in trinity!
2) Peter preached baptism in the name of Jesus Christ to the Jews and to the Gentiles (Cornelius)
Paul also preached baptism in the name of Jesus Christ ,
Samaritans got baptised in the name of Jesus Christ
Greeks were baptised in the name too.
Actually all baptisms in Scripture were performed in the name of Jesus Christ (because that is the name of the Ftaher ,Son and Spirit) and there is not even a single baptism performed just in the tittles,

is it so hard to see that there is only One name? "in the name" singular not "in the names"
There is only "one" name in which man can be saved.

Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

It is "error" to say God is the Father, but it is not an error to say the Father is God. It is an error to say God is the Son, but not an error to say the Son is God. It is an error to say God is the Holy Spirit, but not an error to say The Holy Spirit is God. God the Father did not die for mankind, neither did the Holy Spirit, but Jesus the Son man did.
The very cornerstone of Christianity believe in the Father, Son, Holy Spirit as being one God, but being separate beings in their work, but unity in their purpose.

Who told you that? If is truth tell him to show you from the Bible, because the Bible says "there is One Gospel both for Jews and for Greeks" :)
-Mat.29: 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
(notice He did not said "in the maes" but In the name! Singular , Father is God, Son is the Human form God used to manifest and Spirit is theSpirit of the Father in the resturected glorified spiritual body of Jesus)
-Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
-Αcts.8:14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: 15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: 16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
-Acts.10: 47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord.
-
Acts 19;5 When they heard [this], they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid [his] hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. (Smaritans were baptised by John but not in the Name!)
-Acts 22: 16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
(Paul himself was baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus)
-Romans 6: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?1 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
(Baptism means we die with Christ (repentance) and then be buried woith him (water baptism) and then receive the Spirit and walk a new life (resurrection)
-1 Cor.1:13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;15 Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. 16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.

- Gal.3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
My friend as you can see there is only " 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism' both the same way of salvation for Jews and Greeks.
Are you circumcised with Christ?
-Col.2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with [him] through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

Who told you that? If is truth tell him to show you from the Bible
The Jews always knew in the "plurality" of the Godhead, yet knowing God was "one".

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Isa 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

read first then speak  Be slow to speak fast to listen. Do you read all the verses were all baptisms were performed in the name of Jesus Christ for both Jews and Gentiles? Do you now admit you did a mistake? (or he who told you that, was a lie?) Just tel me about that, please.
"Listen o Israel The Lord our Lord is One Lord" One!
and all over Scripture speaks about "my face" or "my person" never spoke about 3 faces (face in Greek means person, that why first some Christians used the term persons for God because means "faces".) Αlways you read "seek the face of our Lord" etc.
Anyway let us stay to the Baptism first, if you see that ,then the rest will be more easy

What did Jesus say was the requirement for salvation?

Mar 16:15 And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.
Mar 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

What did the Samaritans do?

Act 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

These people were saved according to Jesus's own words. They "believed", and were "baptized". Did they have the Holy Spirit too?

Did the Samaritans have Jesus in them at the new birth? Was God the Father now living inside them? Why was receiving the Holy Spirit something separate from receiving Jesus?

No without the Holy Spirit you dont have salvation, and the Spirit does not come imidiatly when first believe!
Samaritans believed, repent, got baptised in water but did not had the Spirit within them! |
"now the Lord is that Spirit"
:) but let us stay on the first statement , you said that baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus was olny for Hews? What happen now?
If you want to continue you have to admit. (if i do a mistake i will must admit) otherwise it does not habve any meaning to continue speak..
the poinit is to seek the Truth, not to prove if you are right.

No without the Holy Spirit you dont have salvation, and the Spirit does not come imidiatly when first believe!
That is totally not true. Salvation does not take years to happen. It happens the moment one believes! Baptism is just an outward acknowledgment of what has happened inward.

I got saved 40+ years ago. I am just as saved today as I was back then.

The Father, Son, Holy Spirit that makes up "one" God is NOT something you can just figure out as a reason in your head, it has to be a "revelation" of God, by God to a person.

Without that revelation, you will come up with all kinds of things that are not true. The Bible does say what you say it says when you read it, it only says what God says it says when you read it. they are nowhere near the same thing.

you said that baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus was olny for Hews?
I did not say baptism in Jesus name was only for the Jews, I said the Jews knew that the word" Eloheim " had a plural meaning which means "they", yet they knew God was "one". They knew the Messiah would come, but did not believe Jesus was him. These Jews who were baptised did.
